I spotted these shoes at Nine West, and although the black ones fit better i’m completely sold on the beige ones. But it’s buy one get one 50% off.. so should i just go for it and buy both?

Then there’s this sweater from Ralph Lauren which i love, but i wasn’t sure about the color. I tried on both the beige and navy blue, but now at home looking at them both i want the navy blue.. pretty sure my sister has one like it, good thing we don’t live in the same country then eh?

this is an old video from over christmas when conor, ito, and matt all decided to make fun of my half british accent by turning into major hicks.
anyways, hope all you americans enjoyed 4th of july and celebrated likewise

im starting to wonder what we’re doing to our environment. there’s got to be something wrong. tsunamis, tornadoes, floods, earthquakes. what’s next? never mind what else is going on in the world with all the uprising against governments. it’s just disturbing to think about.
i hope all the families in the southern states can make it out okay even with their losses. just a bit sad that the deaths of 60+ people is being over shadowed by a silly wedding.

big christmas trees, dad’s big car, and an incredulous amount of christmas lights on houses. loves it.

i think this seems like a brilliant idea. the only thing is that google voice is only available in the US so far. so if you’re in america, give it a try and tell me how it is!

before i start saying anything i want you to understand that i am in no way saying anything bad about mosques in general or Muslims. saying that all Muslims are responsible for 9/11 would be like saying all Germans are responsible for the holocaust.
now, building a mosque next to ground zero is stupid. it’s rude, and it’s not necessary. i know it was meant for peace and to prove that Muslims weren’t the bad guys, which they aren’t. but i can’t help but think that the idiots behind this idea really didn’t think it through.
i could imagine having lost someone on 9/11, and the thought of it is enough to upset me. for those people who still need a place to mourn and to let go of the past, they need ground zero. they need a memorial. not a mosque to upset them even further. yes there were muslims who died in 9/11 as well, but they’ve got a local mosque surely, and they’ll have ground zero as well. just let it be. don’t upset americans with this. in a country like the u.s.a. topics like this are delicate, very sensitive to most people, and building a mosque there would cause an outrage.
why couldn’t they make a proposition to build a mosque a couple of blocks away? donate money to ground zero if you’re really that concerned about their well beings.

swedes don’t see me as swedish. americans don’t see me as american.
i am who i am

I’m not sure why, but i’ve been thinking a lot about gender equality recently. I’ve never felt like i’ve been degraded for being a female before, not in Sweden not in America.. in England, i feel a little like the guys don’t value women the same they do their ‘lads’. I had a look at the stats from a couple of websites, Sweden is around one of the top 3 for women equality. America? number 27! England around 17. No surprise that the middle eastern countries are ranked at the bottom. What i’m wondering is why do i feel like less of a person in England? Is it the guys i’ve been around? Is it their culture to treat women differently? Is it just me being stupid? I can’t grip my head around it. I’m confused and a bit worried. What will it be like in the business and working world, worse or better? Guess i’ll have to wait and see, either way it’s a bit wrong. Why should i feel like less of a person for being a woman? The last time i checked men loved women and all their ‘lady bits’, correct? Men need us more than they think, and they sure as hell would miss us even if they wont admit it. I’m just sick of the disrespect i’ve gotten from guys recently and the way they talk down to women and about them. Maybe we should start acting the same, see how they feel?

wasn’t the same at all. quite happy the saints won cause i was rooting for them however watching it late at night wasn’t ideal. food wasn’t the same and neither was the crowd. missed dallas a lot last night. wanted to be anywhere in the states. wanted to watch the game with people who loved the game. who would get enthusiastic, mad, and happy. all in all though good game. ecstatic new orleans won. looks like mardi gras is starting early this year!
