decided to wear something really simple today. tights and a tunic. can’t really be bothered to get dressed up when i’m not at home, too complicated to get everything into a suitcase

walked to camden after viewing the flat yesterday (no bueno by the way) and alex wanted to look at the sale in H&M. guess who came out holding a new purchase? me of course.

ended up with a top and a dress. both black & white. but i fell hard. firstly cause the dress is like the one’s from american apparel, only this one cost me 4 pounds. yep, only 4 pounds!!

it’s been out and in the open for a while but i’ve just forgotten about it. it wasn’t until today when i was looking into applying for a job at american apparel (yes, again.) that it came to my mind to write about it.

apparently the dress code at american apparel stores and offices is a bit.. how should i put this.. strict? considering the company in itself makes such laid back clothes and expresses a very chilled atmosphere in it’s stores.

i always found american apparel a store where i could buy clothes to express myself. to show my style through their clothes. to show who i am. not who they want me to be.

through this new ‘dress code,’ as they like to call it, i’ve become very upset with american apparel. they’ve been such an honest company in the past. this really makes me rethink it all.

because i don’t have a sticky bra yet, i’m wearing an American Apparel tube bra in under it as well!

only bad thing is that the gold has started rubbing off in the back somehow, a bit disappointing.

wearing a new dress that i recently bought at Monki, with an American Apparel tube bra in under, and American Apparel tights (just until it warms up outside!).

p.s. anybody know where i can get a good stick on bra in stockholm?

dress from Primark, tights from American Apparel. nothing special. looks like it going to rain so just wearing clothes that wont be too uncomfortable in this weather!

an adorable petticoat.. wear it with something over it or just on its own, it just looks amazing.

and a simple crop top tee which would be perfect for those warm summer days.. oh the list of things i want grows every day..

off to buy paper to mount my drawings on for my portfolio turn in. will probably fail, but i couldn’t care less anymore. as long as i turn it in and get it done with it’s over. never again. wearing a corset from topshop, skirt from american apparel, and sweater from Gap.

lace body i stole from my mother a while back and a tulip skirt from American Apparel. it’s nice out today.
