one of the girls i lived in halls with the first year here in london had her birthday at the end of last month. so she decided to have a house party and the theme was glamourous! was nice to dress up for once, not to mention will drove us there so i didn’t have to walk far in my sky high heels.

on Saturday evening we had about 13 people over for drinks and snacks before going out to ‘celebrate my birthday’. had a really good time. the sangria was drunk, and most of the food was eaten!

got even more presents, mostly jewellery from all my lovely friends. and then once the clock turned 12 we moved on to Cafe opera to dance the night away.

as we started pre-birthday celebrations this weekend i got to open some presents as well. emmelie and robert started by giving me bubbles and a barbie toothbrush and a pair of ‘button’ earrings from marc by marc jacobs! love them.

then simon gave me one of his presents as well, a necklace from Links London.

who said getting older is horrible? i quite like it

yesterday emmelie, robert, and i went over to my grandmothers to have dinner. we popped open a bottle of sparkling to celebrate my birthday, got a generous gift as well.

then we sat down and emmelie and i destroyed the meatballs and brown sauce.. was delicious! and the pie afterwards didn’t hurt either.. YUMMY!

went to paddington around 9 this morning, fathers plane landed at 8 so i met him from the heathrow express. had breakfast at paul’s which was nice, should’ve got a coffee but i was waaaaay to hot from stressing about not getting there on time. made it in the nick of time though which was good!

we’ve managed to celebrate my birthday early this year… mum and dad bought me loads of goodies me spoiled? no way!?

got undies from both gilly hicks and victoria’s secret, an UBER comfortable hoodie from gilly hicks and a lovely dress which i’m thinking i might wear on midsummer in sweden!

then i got a nice dress/tee from victoria’s secret to sleep in as well as loads of products. new perfume, mascara, face lotion, body lotion.. the list just goes on and on doesn’t it?!

was luckily a really nice day on saturday. got the day off of work and then went to the rugby 7′s in twickenham with a load of people. it was hobbsy’s birthday, so some of the boys and girls from THD hockey club were there as well.

the birthday boy decided to be different from out boyscout/girlscout outfits and be an… indian? either way the british love their fancy dress!

i was sat chatting to alaana for most of the games. was good fun watching england beat usa. really had a lovely day out. simon and i were quite smart and brought our own packed lunch so i didn’t spend too much money either!

a couple of weeks ago for alex’s birthday we dressed up as different people/things that were popular in the 90′s. me and a couple of girls +1 guy dressed up as the spice girls. i think the idea might have been better than the actual execution.

the boys looked quite alright in their teenage mutant ninja turtle outfits. even got stopped on the way for pre-drink, a girl wanted to take a picture with them!

when i got to the club with a ninja turtle and a pikachu they had no clue what the hell i was supposed to be…

went to a pub in vauxhall on sunday night to have drinks for dan’s birthday! the poor guy had to drink so many nasty concoctions, he was well drunk after a while. not to mention he bought us all tequila shots.. one tequila two tequila three tequila…floor?

going to make some dinner in a bit. mashed potatoes with carrots and some fish fingers. not the fanciest but easy and somewhat healthy.

then i think either courtney is gonna come over and watch a movie or we’re gonna go meet up with alex and irish in angel.

not drinking tonight though as we’re going to the pub for dan’s birthday tomorrow night. no need to drink everyday.. plus i can’t afford it
