Happy New Years!

back at my grandmothers after a lovely day/night at claes & pia’s. once again an amazing midsummer. maybe a bit too much wine on my part, good thing we only do this once a year.

such amazing hosts, and my beautiful family around me.. couldn’t have asked for more!

i just realized that while i’ve been all caught up in my own business i forgot to write that it was ito’s birthday this past week. granted i said happy birthday to him on facebook, but how great is that? i feel horrible. i guess it’s just something that’s easier to do when you’re around the person, like if i were to go out and celebrate him. but i’ll tell you this ito, if you come here this summer we will celebrate! oh and just for the blog’s sake, happy birthday again panda bear

apparently the london eye has been around for 10 years now so they’re doing a special deal where you can pay ten and get to go up at night. since i saw it during the day last time i figured it would be cool. so me and simon are off to the london eye tonight at 8! let’s hope my fear of heights doesn’t ruin anything..

going to sweden at the end of june for midsummer with some family and whatnot. going for a little over a week. sister’s been nice enough to offer me her apartment for the time i’m there as well. that is of course as long as i don’t mess anything up! i am quite jealous of her to be honest. she’s got a paying job. an apartment. a life. i haven’t even started my degree yet. frustrating but that’s beside the point. either way the big surprise this year is that simon’s coming with me! he gets to see swedes at their best.. drunk on midsummer, haha! either way im looking forward to it a lot!

going to the student union to celebrate my interview with a quick drink (possibly) still haven’t decided, however beers are 1 pound so i might go for one! anyways im wearing my obey sweater, american apparel jeans tights with earrings from urban outfitters and bracelets from river island! oh and shoes from BP nordstroms. love it im so comfy.

haha so yesterday was midsummer, pretty much the equivilent of the american thanksgiving i guess. except that swedes get really drunk. we tried to pretty much do it the traditional way so we made a yummy dinner. potatoes, salmon, and a salad. no pickled herring thank god. then some strawberries and ice cream for dessert

anyways then we went to cafe en seine for a while until i got really hungry again. then we went home and danced around red poles instead of a midsummer pole? yeah.. it worked. anyways that was about it.

i made a super deal on a dress from river island that used to cost like 40 euro, but i got it for 13 yeeeuh, its gunna be my favorite this summer. so get ready to see it a lot in pictures. also i realized i had the PERFECT eye shadow to match. good stuff eh?
