no, i’m not talking about jimmy choo shoe’s, i wish i was.

i’m simply talking about a train. the train i’ll be getting from the station this morning at 9ish. a train going out of the city. the train i’ll get off of around 12 and be greeted by my boyfriend (if he’s gotten out of bed).

spending a whole week out in middlesborough! even there for my birthday on tuesday it’s gunna be nice, simon’s family are such sweethearts and always looking out for me, so i’m thinking i wont wanna leave!

going to see the city today and do touristy things im guessing!

after doing some laundry, and food shopping simon and i made lunch

hot dogs hehe. it felt fitting considering the lovely weather plus it being summer and all!

then after that we got our asses into gear and went downtown. walked around for a bit, showed simon a couple of the things he needs to see in stockholm.

went into gamla stan, the old city and took a seat next to the water and had a glass of rose.

then walked around a bit more and decided to come back home.

after simon’s long trip he’s a bit tired, and in bed already. ha!

done. finished. finito. färdig. it’s finally fucking over. the elation and happiness running through my veins is intense. wish somebody could be with me to celebrate the fact that i did it. i made it through this year. i’ve made it yet again. i’ve finished. granted i may not pass but who the fuck cares? i’m done. i never have to set foot on london metropolitan university campus ever again if i don’t want to. I’m no longer forced to deal with the nonsense they call an education. it’s ridiculous, but i feel like jumping up and down and cry and just sit here and smile to myself, because no matter how shit or how horrible this year has been it doesn’t matter anymore. i’m done. next year i get to start over. new university. new people, new friends. new subject. new place to live. yet the same amazing city. so fuck you london met and all the shit you brought with you cause i’m over you!

so today me and dad woke up pretty late. we got ready and went to see the ladies run a half marathon here in dublin city. of course there were guys dressed up (or should i say down?) as girls too. pretty entertaining to watch. apparently the lady who won ran it in 35 minutes, hot damn! also there were about 45000+ people running. craziness! any who, i got a bit more sun and some entertainment, all in one! here are some pictures..

it was like watching a stack of ants, insane!

so today my beloved hanna stopped by after school. we had a sandwich and then took the bus into the city. from there we stopped and got some books from the library (something for hanna’s school project)

we then went to a fabric store so she could buy something else for school, yes im a good friend who goes along on all the errands!

oh and btw, wearing heels in a library is NOT something i recommend! after that we walked to ben & jerrys and got a waffle cone.

i had cookie dough of course, my fav! so yeah, all in all a pretty walktastic day!

i like dublin, i really do. its a beautiful and cool city. today though its raining. but its nowhere as bad as the rain in dallas. here it kind of mists for a while, then stops, then mists a bit more. i mean yeah it messes with your hair but it could be worse. the people are lovely. everyones very friendly. i get so surprised (coming from Sweden) when someone bumps into me and says ’sorry’. in sweden everyones so bitter and they arnt very friendly to strangers. anyways i know one thing i dont like.. NOT BEING ABLE TO GET A JOB. its no fun. i dont wanna go back to sweden early, and nothings set in stone so theres a possibility i wont be able to get a job their either. i mean im not broke yet, but the thing is i have to pay A LOT for school in the fall, my 18th birthday means going out a lot which costs money, possibly a trip this summer?, and you still want to be able to shop. its just annoying, plus im not the best person at being economic.

so first we took this bus out to where the spca was supposed to be, but then we realized oh yeah its quite a walk. dad said it would be about 20 min, not bad. ended up being like 40, uphill. hey at least we got some exercise? so dad joking while were walking, maybe they arnt open when we get there. i tell him its not funny, cause seriously this is a long ways away from home. he then proceeds to tell me he already checked the website they dont close until 4 p.m. so we should be good to go. only do we realize when we get to the gates that yeah, it is closed. closed to the public until sunday. talk about bad timing! so im definitely  not walking up there again. maybe if we have a car ill go, otherwise ill look at animals online haha. gotta think positive though it couldnt have been a total waste, we did get a bit of a workout! hehe. then once we finally got back into town dad and i stopped at Milano for a late lunch. i had a delicious margherita pizza and i think i was worth it after all that walking! then dad got a coffee and i just let my stomach rest. now im tired and feeling lazy, i think tonights going to be another movie/tv night!
