they’re performing at fabric tonight and tickets are only 10 pounds, however i’m just not really feeling going out. i think it’s because i’m sick. plus the medicine just makes me so drowsy.
we’ll see how i feel later, maybe i’ll really want to go out!

nothing beats live music! yesterday was really different. i’ve never been to a reggae or rap concert.
at first me and emps went to leif’s for dinner. guess what we ate? yep. pancakes! yuuuuummy! then we made way to Gröna Lund.
the bus there wasn’t exactly glamourous. squished. smelly. hot. nasty. ugh. might as well have walked! but we made it, and got into the park, had a beer in the pub whilst listening to reggae.
then when the concert started we were just ants in a stampede. tried getting into the crowd, but couldn’t see anything and kept getting pushed around. so we opted to walk around to the other side, and to our advantage there were some people just leaving off of some benches. so we hopped right on up, and BAM perfect view:)
nas and damian marley played some really good songs. some of my favorites were ‘welcome to jamrock,’ ‘i can,’ and even a bob marley song ‘you could be loved.’
after i finally gathered my energy to stand up, pappa drove me to my sister’s to drop off my things. then we went to lunch downtown with emmelie! had a lovely lunch in the sun then of course some ice cream afterwards, hehe.
after that my pappa drove me to my grandma’s. brought her a flower, and some magazines from emmelie. had tea and some cinnamon buns, as always! enjoyed seeing her again, plus she’s doing really well after her operation
now i’m waiting for emmelie to get back so we can make dinner and get out to the concert!

‘no summer without reggae!’ going to Gröna Lund tonight with sister, Emmelie! going to see Damian Marley and Nas, since one of the music festivals here in sweden shut down they’re giving a free concert. SWEET! will let you know how it was tomorrow..
so the reason i didn’t update yesterday was that thursday afternoon/night involved a little bit too much alcohol. started off meeting up with one of simon’s best friends james on oxford street. he was with a couple of guy friends from back home and they had come to london to see john mayer. so we ended up have our first drink in a bar called the phoenix, then they had to leave for the concert. went to topshop, found tom and then met up with two girls they had gone to school with. then we went to a place called all bar one.
it’s a nice place, me and simon went to one by the london eye and really enjoyed it. this one wasn’t as impressive. the place we were sat at was highly annoying for me. really tall seats so my feet didn’t touch the ground and i just couldn’t get comfortable and on top of that my legs were falling asleep. i was so happy to get out of there that i left my phone. lucky i noticed quite quickly ran back and the waiter had it and handed it to me straight away. thank god for that because if not my night would have been ruined. there would’ve been a pissed of little me and a whole lot of tears. then we moved on to a cocktail bar.
the girls got their drinks they were keen on drinking and we continued with the red wine. let me just mention that at this point i was getting on it. and the plan was that when the girls finally left we would go home, but alas! james called and the plans changed immediately. we met up with them on oxford street and then started walking towards a club. so strawberry moons it was!
the walk there was fine. except for the fact that i saw all the lucky bastards sat outside the Apple store waiting for the friday release. i want one! i want one! i want one! strawberry moons wasn’t too packed but the fact that the dance floor was halfway empty and the dj was playing everything i wanted made it amazing! usher-OMG and sweet child of mine were the nights favorites, at least for me. i was the only girl and the guys seemed to want to chill, but nope. i would simply not have it. dragged everyone onto the dance floor and to be honest i must have looked like a pimp, haha kidding! from there we moved on yet again..
yeah, i ended up with 5 guys at a strip club. little blonde girl in a strip club. geeez, it must have been a sight to see! i was the only girl in there… besides the one behind the bar and of course the dancers. i can’t explain it but unimpressed and shocked kind of puts my feelings into perspective. let me just tell you it’s nothing like it is in the movies. the girls are not good looking. the club in it self was not nice. it was… trashy. not what i expected. not the image i had in my mind. so to say the least you wont be seeing me in one anytime soon. after that we left at like 6 in the morning to get the first tube home.. must have both fallen asleep because we ended up in brixton.. so off the tube to get yet another one. didn’t get to bed until 8 in the morning and i’ll tell you this much, when i woke up around noon i felt like death. so yes being thirsty on a thursday was the reason i didn’t update all day yesterday and didn’t move a muscle either.
well well well, went to lady gaga’s concert last night. it was her ‘monsters ball’ tour. two words, not impressed! not at all. it actually quite upset me! like i don’t think ill be able to listen to her music the same way again. she ruined one of my favorite songs and she had a break in between basically every song. like come on!! i honestly dont care if you change ten times. plus some of the outfits were horrid anyways. her face looked like a drag queen, her hair was yellow and horrifically curled as well. one of her dancers looked better than her! plus every time she took a break it ruined the mood in the o2, like people would start to get into it and then the break would ruin it, so i sat down the whole concert as well as everyone else. not the kind of concert i’m used to going to. i’d have to say it’s one of the worst concerts i’ve ever been to! at least me and my dad had a nice couple of drinks after
probably the last time ill go to dublin, at least to visit my daddy. anyways so im packing today and then going to the airport around lunchtime tomorrow! also i get to see lady gaga in concert this weekend! wondering if my dads going to enjoy it, ha! oh and the mens hockey in the olympics has some important games on saturday. sweden plays finland i think and canada plays the u.s. oh la la!

she singing to a little girl named chelsea beyonces such a talented person. im happy she uses her fame for others as well. i cant imagine how happy this little girl was after.
