so last week jules and simon decided they wanted to ‘cook’ and serve dinner. pimms, white, and red wine were on the cards.

smoked salmon for starters with prosciutto bread sticks. then we had chicken skewers with red rice for the main.

daphne and i were really impressed with what the boys did, plus it was nice not to have to lift a finger for once!

went along with tara, alex, and julia yesterday to nando’s while they ate dinner. i had already eaten so i was sat there smelling the goodness but too stuffed to even try anything!

then i had a brilliant idea, cocktails everyday 2 for 1 from 7-8! so we almost ran to the marylebone.

get there and guess what… 8-9! typical. went to coco momo for a quick glass of wine. their prices are actually quite reasonable for the high street.

we wanted those damn cocktails so back we went. jules and alex’s friend sophia joined us as well.

elderflower margaritas, watermelon cosmopolitans, and a couple of pimms later most of us were ready to head home.

but jules and i met up with daphne and her new flatmate and waited for simon at wetherspoons. then home i went to sleep since i’ve got an essay due this week.. eeks.

the weather plays a big part in whether or not i wanna go out and actually do things. went with Simon to meet up Jules in euston to go to a BBQ… little did we know that it was for his halls. Daphne came as well and after a while we felt very out of place and very .. unwelcome (can’t think of the actual word)? so we left.

went to Regent’s park and met James along the way, whilst loosing Jules and Daphne. Ate some strawberries, and olives.

Enjoyed the sun, since it’s meant to rain all weekend. Now i’m back home debating what movie to watch tonight!

yesterday simon and i went to green park to meet up with jules. we had a packed lunch, football, blankets, drinks.. basically all you need. even extra clothes! when we got there it was cloudy and well, not so warm. then jules came and provided us with some live entertainment for a while. the sun came out as well and i got my tan on.. well not really but i laid in the sun and enjoyed the warmth! then after several hours when we ran out of beverages and food we decided to walk to piccadilly. literally a minutes walk, i don’t know how i’ve missed that before! then we walked around, looked in some stores. went to dinner at Vapiano. daphne joined us as well. so all in all a very busy but laid back day. went to bed before 12 hehe, old lady over here!

hanna’s been here for what two days? and in that amount of time my bank account has managed to shrink amazing amounts. dinner out. lunch out. tube. just the small things add up! good thing we managed to get free glasses of wine yesterday and we’re getting free drinks tonight. sweet.

wednesday night when hanna arrived we went out right away. Oxygen in leicester square. it was alright, except for the fact that is smelt like sweat, through and through! yesterday we went to Hyde park, had lunch in the sun. such beautiful weather the last couple of days. then we went to Carnaby street, hanna did some shopping. met up with Simon and one of the guys from uni, terry. then we ended up with free drinks at a pub that’s just opened called pearl? had some good white wine with hummos and pita bread then after a while we decided to go to Vapiano again. loved it. after that we headed over to jules so that hanna could meet him and daphne. after a while we were all so tired that we just decided to go home.

today we just went for a quick trip to wood green, shithole. however there’s a primark there and it’s busy but not like the one of oxford street. so hanna got a bunch of stuff and i ended up with a cheap dress! put pictures up later cause my camera is dead.

so today and yesterday i have done nothing. layed around. watched tons of movies. took a short trip to tescos. but other than that, nothing! loves it although i dont plan on doing it again tomorrow! going to watch Simon play hockey in the morning, then probably going out with jules and daphne, and daphne’s friend from paris! should be a good time
