After breakfast my father and i walked down to kings cross past the British library, and then got on the tube to get to Kew gardens out in Richmond.

The royal gardens is massive, i just didn’t imagine it would be quite so big. Really doesn’t feel like you’re in London at all when you’re out there.

dad felt a bit at home when he saw all the ‘desert’ plants and the cactus plants. i loved smelling the roses, although not quite as impressive as the one’s in Regent’s park.

so the boy isn’t always stupid. he realised i wasn’t too happy with him and so he showed up with flowers for me on friday evening. got major brownie points for that, and i was pretty impressed to be honest.

simon arrived yesterday with a big big bouquet of flowers and a card (the card was textured! loves it). he said they didn’t have my favorite flowers..

i quite liked the fact that they’re so exotic.. have no clue what kind they are!

got flowers from Simon when i came back to London last Sunday.

They haven’t survived well in my flat as its:
1) freaking cold
2) no direct sunlight.

but they were beautiful while they lasted. what girl doesn’t like getting flowers?

when simon and i walked through regent’s park yesterday we decided to stop and through through the gardens and whatnot.

i have NEVER in my life seen such massive sunflowers. funny thing is they’re my sister’s favorite flowers and it was her birthday yesterday. i’ll have to show her when she finally comes to london.. simon could barely fit his hand around the stalks of some of them! they were like two meters tall as well, crazy stuff.

then all the beautiful kinds of roses, the smell, the green grass. ah it was just so beautiful, and to think i live like a 7 minute walk away.. heaven on earth.

simon woke me up this morning with breakfast in bed. mumm champagne and some lovely presents. then the doorbell rang and mom and dad had sent me flowers! massive bouquet!

even though it’s still pouring it down outside i’ve got some nice tulips in the window to make it a bit better how’s the weather where you are?

bought some tulips yesterday when we were at the grocery store. 5 pounds and the whole kitchen just looks lovelier does remind me of Sweden and Emmelie a lot. i think it’s because we always bought them when we lived together last year. and sometimes after work i’d buy some and bring them home just because they were purple or pretty. loser i know, but flowers do make a big difference. plus they make me a bit happier in the morning, rather than just a plain dirty kitchen.

i could buy flowers more often. or even get some from someone else. love the feeling of waking up in the morning and seeing a bouquet of roses or even just a single flower.

so last night we went out to dinner to celebrate a friend of jonas 18th birthday. wouldnt say i was impressed with the restaurant or anything but it worked. on the way we bought her a pretty rose, i love flowers sometimes. wish i bought them for myself more often, its just that they die so quickly! i wore a shirt that i used to work in, i think its from the limited, not sure though. also my skirt from American Apparel, surprise surprise. then to top it all off i wore my lovely heels from nine west gotta love it even though i got some blisters! then me and jonas came home and i switched to sweats and we watched tv. early night last night, so well see how tonight goes. nothing planned yet so im guessing i wont feel to bad tomorrow! were going to visit Hanna and her padres in crime village, hehe. anyways gotta run!
