no matter what i do to prevent it, if someone in the world is sick and they enter the same room as me i’m sick within the next week.

nose is stuffy, headache, i feel like i’m seeing everything through a blurry filter, and my throat is killing me.. again. how fun.

not the best timing either, last week at work. plus i’ve got a presentation to prepare for next week and an essay to start writing.

think i might finish working early today though, which means i can do some homework and then curl up  into bed early. fancy some bread and soup for dinner! soothe my throat a bit.

going to the mall to do some looking around and to buy some meds. i think i’m getting a cold, and i blame hanna!! oh well, not much i can do about it now. gunna buy some things to make it easier to sleep and breathe. ugh. i hate being sick.

so i found some antiflammatory stuff at tescos and its a life saver! no more pain when i pee, although im pretty sure i need antibiotics for it to fully go away! now im just waiting for my cough to disappear as well.

well i don’t look sick. but i surely sound like it. on the phone simon started laughing at me and then proceeded to tell me i sounded like hell, thanks. i’ve probably got some sick and twisted form of the swine flu. my throat is absolutely killing me. i’m so tired and i don’t feel like doing anything! vicky said that when she went to the doctors office around the corner there were signs saying it had been found in the area. eeks. oh well, hopefully i’ll survive. i’ve endured worse no?

dad and i are both sick. my throat seems to get worse each day. no medicine from the doctor except antibiotics. slept like crap. tired. i just want this to be over. what if it doesnt get better by the time im due for sweden? this is stupid. dads flying to the states, more importantly texas, on monday and im going to sweden. flying sucks when your sick and it sucks when people are STILL freaking out about the stupid swine flu. thanks to you who got me sick. ugh.

we start walking and then realize hey! we can take the ferry across the water, that way it will be closer. so yes, me and dad rode a boat to the doctors office. different much? everything is always and adventure with papi.

then in the waiting room i started looking at a magazine, i then realize that i am American Apparel obsessed. i see this..

and i immediately thing ‘omg kerrys wearing American Apparel’, does this mean i need therapy? anyways enough of my psychotic fashion freakiness.. so the first thing the doctor asked me was if i had been to mexico or california. negative. then after snooping around my head, proceeds to tell me i have a throat infection. so antibiotics for the next 5 days. not the bad part, the bad part is im only allowed to drink warm liquids. i prefer my liquids cold. i also have to gargle and stay away from mexico. ha. anyways having medicine is good, no more of this pain and agony. afterwards me and dad went to starbucks.

i had a chai tea latte, loves it. although chai tea reminds me of christmas. we then proceeded to walk through the shopping center, and i found a store that needed a sales associate. so tomorrow im going back and dropping off my CV, resume for you americans wish me luck.

wanna guess? a purse, some earrings, shoes, bracelet? nope. a toilet paper roll. yep. thats right. ive been sick with this stupid flu/cold thing for about three weeks now. yes THREE WHOLE weeks. so ive resorted to carrying around a toilet paper roll since i have to blow my nose about every other minute. oh and might i add that having the flu, blowing your nose, and coughing, and whatnot while traveling during SWINE FLU freak out isnt fun. everyone treated me like an outcast. almost like i was wearing a cancun spring break tan and swine flu sign on me. oh well. so today ive almost lost my voice, cant stop coughing, and im sick and tired of being tired and sick. i have a doctors appointment at 215 and im wondering.. will the doctor be able to understand what im saying through my raspy whispers? i sure hope so! oh and thank you jonas for getting me sick. emmelie was sick in sweden before she came to visit. when emmelie and mom were in dublin.. well i got both of them sick. and now during our latest trip to london ive gotten dad sick too. so i would just like to blame jonas for everything. anyways being sick SUCKS. so lets hope i get better soon. im leaving for sweden on monday.. EEEEKS.

okay so sunday wasnt the best day, the pharmacy was closed and i had no nose-spray so i barely could breathe all day. then yesterday i felt fine. okay maybe not fine, but better than the last couple of days. a cough and some running of the nose. today though, i dont get it. i woke up and my throat hurts so bad i feel like i cant even swallow. also im coughing up a storm and my head feels like its the size of the moon. whats the deal? when will all this be over? i just want to get better now! i was gunna go work out at the gym today, but im thinking that wont happen if i feel like this all day.. maybe i should take a dayquil and chill out. being sick sucks. hope i dont have the swine flu, i kid i kid

im dressed and alive! wearing my American Apparel Unisex Shirt, American Apparel Skirt, and tights and a belt from stores that i cant remember!  today im feeling much more alive than i did yesterday. ive even showered (thank god!) and put make up on! okay mascara only but that still counts right? anyways i feel human and thats all that counts. today im going to soak up in vitamin C and hope i recover before tomorrow! mom lands pretty early in the morning so chances are im still going to sound like a man when she arrives. at least my nose isnt stuffy, the only thing that hurts is my throat and thats all. oh well. im gunna stop whining and just get over it now!

yep. i think if got a bug. its probably the same one as last time that just laid low for a while. my throat is killing me and ive got a ridiculous cough. this better go away by the time mom gets here on Sunday, its not good to be sick!! i hate it. anyways i dont think ill have that much interesting stuff to blog about today, unless you wanna hear about how many times i cough in a minute. yeah didnt think so. wish me luck in getting better! lots of warm tea. should probably get dad to buy some honey and cough drops!
