doesn’t hurt this time!!!

going to get my last things from seven sisters, turning my keys in, and saying goodbye let’s hope i get my deposit back soon..

it wasn’t the distance this time that was hard, just the fact that i was leaving. normally the one that stays behind has a harder time saying goodbye, but i really struggled yesterday.

got to the airport, got some tax free goods. just a mascara and a new perfume. necessities really then as soon as i got on the plane the captain said we’d have to wait an hour and a half! in the freaking heat. noooo thank you. luckily enough they got it down to 20 minutes.

an hour into the flight i’d finished my book and was quite restless. ended up watching ‘i love you, philip morris’ terrible movie.

landed. went through the usual. passport control. baggage claim. top up oyster card. sit on tube for an hour and a half..

felt so alone. but then i got in and realized that mostly everyone’s back. so i chilled with alex and irish for a bit

since i was a bimbo and booked my flight home for tomorrow, i wont be spending my birthday with my family. so tonight my sister dad and i are going to dinner. technically to say happy birthday but also to say goodbye.

went to the station not to long ago to wave simon off. he’s traveling back to london today, even after my many attempts to sway in into staying longer.

after all my traveling, and spread apart family i’ve learned to deal with goodbye’s. luckily this ones only for a couple of weeks!

but i must say that it’s so much easier to leave people and do the traveling than to be left on the other side watching someone walk away.

enough dwelling for now, because i’m not leaving here for another couple of weeks!

done. finished. finito. färdig. it’s finally fucking over. the elation and happiness running through my veins is intense. wish somebody could be with me to celebrate the fact that i did it. i made it through this year. i’ve made it yet again. i’ve finished. granted i may not pass but who the fuck cares? i’m done. i never have to set foot on london metropolitan university campus ever again if i don’t want to. I’m no longer forced to deal with the nonsense they call an education. it’s ridiculous, but i feel like jumping up and down and cry and just sit here and smile to myself, because no matter how shit or how horrible this year has been it doesn’t matter anymore. i’m done. next year i get to start over. new university. new people, new friends. new subject. new place to live. yet the same amazing city. so fuck you london met and all the shit you brought with you cause i’m over you!

i feel like this is becoming a routine thing. saying goodbye, wishing everybody good luck. asking people to come visit. at least now i’m a lot closer. i didn’t have time to see emmelie today but like she said it doesn’t really matter since i’ll be seeing her soon enough! we don’t have to wait from year to year anymore! i love being in europe.

it was a fun night. pretty KEWL. met some new people, hung out. chilled. walked home in the wee hours, craved macdonalds hahah. yeah not much to say about it really. said goodbye to everyone and then that was that!
