so i made it through the first round of interviews with apple. i’m reckoning that in itself is kind of impressive as in the usa its harder to get a job at apple than it is to get into stanford university!

no details yet, but i’m thinking i’ll find out more within the next two weeks. honestly didn’t think i’d get a ‘call back’ as the end of the last interview thing didn’t go too well.. hehe.

okay so i’ve read up on basically… everything. all the different job titles what they actually meant and who apple wants for those positions. all their different products, computers, ipads, ipods, iphones, and all the different gb’s and prices. can’t say i’ll remember ANY of this once i’m nervous but it’s worth a shot, right?

on the email it said dress casually (going to wear exactly what i wore to class this morning) and that the ‘recruitment event’ shouldn’t last more than 2hr 30min.. bloody hell what am i in for? the event starts at 6 so i’ll be finished at 830.. shame my law class is from 530 to 830… guess i won’t be going to that lecture today then!

now i’m going to watch the mentalist, relax, and make a caesar salad for dinner before i’m off. wish i had some chill pills!

this woman is being interviewed on the news about how she’s going to be watching the royal wedding, and honestly i think she’s crazy.

she’s brought with her, her magnets and pictures of the couple.

she says she’s going to be toasting them at home with champagne while watching the tv. surely she’s got a horrificly boring life. i can think of plenty of things better to toast champagne to!

some people really have nothing better to do with their time..

oh by the way, does anybody know if they’re going to be showing the world cup still? i don’t wanna watch the wedding only!

well did the trial shift this morning and it seems ridiculously easy. take payments, and give out cards. easy! only thing is i’m not really a 100% keen on working full-time but a job is a job, and then once i get it i can just keep looking… well if i get it. they said they’d give me a call.. so we’ll see!

up early today! went to bed early last night so hopefully i wont die halfway through the day! i’m going to uni to drop off work for one of my modules and then i’m off to my interview and trial shift at Vapiano! once again i hate early mornings cause my stomach hates food then.. :/ but i’ve got a granola bar in my bag so i should be fine!

going in to oxford street to get a pair of black flats with simon since i need a pair for my interview tomorrow and i figured i could find some cheap ones and they’ll probably come to use later on anyways! then we’re meeting jules at the park again, i got burnt yesterday pictures up later!

i’m not so sure how it went. the whole interview took about 5 minutes. so that whole journey for 5 minutes.. mm whatever. said i had pretty hair, guess that’s a plus for a hair salon? oh i dont know, we’ll see in the middle of next week if i get a call back. the other place hasn’t called, and i worked 6 hours for them!! ugh, this isn’t looking too positive.

got another interview for monday at a hair salon! it’s right next to regent’s park so if i’m happy there i could probably work every other weekend when i’m at regent’s college as well. i’d rather get paid less and work days than get paid more and work nights!

off to my interview now! so wish me luck and we’ll see how things go!
