i’m ridiculously tired. so this post is just gunna be a long one about my whole day.
went into town with dad, Emmelie, and Robert. ate lovely ice cream and watched some people. jesus there were a lot of people!
decided to go to a pub/restaurant called o’learys. ate some lunch and waited for the parade to start while watching the netherlands beat japan!

then we went along with all the other people to watch as the royal newlyweds drove past in a flash.
all in all i’d have to say that even though i was very negative about the wedding and whatnot, it was nice to see all the people out and about. although they could have organized it a bit better and made it a bit more exciting for the public…
was a nice day without rain, and with good company.
for dinner we had ‘swedish burritos’ and i’m stuffed still and ridiculously tired.

this woman is being interviewed on the news about how she’s going to be watching the royal wedding, and honestly i think she’s crazy.
she’s brought with her, her magnets and pictures of the couple.
she says she’s going to be toasting them at home with champagne while watching the tv. surely she’s got a horrificly boring life. i can think of plenty of things better to toast champagne to!
some people really have nothing better to do with their time..
oh by the way, does anybody know if they’re going to be showing the world cup still? i don’t wanna watch the wedding only!

Tomorrow the princess of Sweden is getting married here in Stockholm. Oh boy oh boy the amount the newspapers and everyone else has talked about it. Stores have made special editions of certain things for it as well. I personally couldn’t care less. It’s a waste of money. Sure it’s great, she’s going to be the one with the ‘power’ (even though they’re just figure heads, they make no difference to the government) after the king dies, but really? You expect me to go downtown to the royal castle tomorrow and watch from a distance as they walk out? no. The only interesting part is that the royal families of other countries are coming. But does anybody really know who they are? England’s royal family isn’t coming and they’re the only one’s i know anything about. They’re to good for this kind of thing, no? maybe, maybe not. She’s too old, he’s sick, and the sons are fucking about in South Africa. Bad publicity for them in Sweden i tell ya.
So as it stands i say no. no to watching a wedding that has nothing to do with me. and no to royal families. pointless.
