Just been for a lush curry with my pappa and a couple of glasses of red. back at home now and i wish i could turn back the hands of time, either that or that our whole family could just have a vacation together right now.

bit hard going back to reality tomorrow, but thankfully i’ve got my plastic dad, Leif coming next week. then it’s a week of hardcore studying and then no other than my favourite person in the world lands in London.. EMMMEEEELIE

yeah my life doesn’t suck too much, but hey… who doesn’t like to bitch?!

went to Evelina’s on saturday for late lunch/early dinner. it was meant for Leif as a thank you for painting her kitchen, but it ended up being so much more.

since i don’t eat meat i got some chicken with mozzarella, sun dried tomatoes, basil and it was DELICIOUS. never mind the never ending supply of wine.

the weather was so nice as well so we sat outside and enjoyed the sun. then we moved inside when it got dark to dance the night away like we used to do when we lived together

leif sent me loads of candy for easter. yummy in my tummy! perfect for gaining weight during the exam period after all what’s revision without some treats?

almost finished the lakrisal already, my absolute favorite!

in england they have pancakes today, and in sweden we eat semlor. i’m having neither.

but what i wouldn’t give to be in sweden, i remember when leif bought some and brought them home for like a week straight, me and emmelie loved it!

they’re super yummy! hopefully next year i’ll get to taste one again.

went for a walk around the lakes here with leif. was really nice and sunny, and hot and sticky as well. but i’m not complaining. it was good to get out for a bit. get some fresh air. stop thinking.

nothing beats live music! yesterday was really different. i’ve never been to a reggae or rap concert.

at first me and emps went to leif’s for dinner. guess what we ate? yep. pancakes! yuuuuummy! then we made way to Gröna Lund.

the bus there wasn’t exactly glamourous. squished. smelly. hot. nasty. ugh. might as well have walked! but we made it, and got into the park, had a beer in the pub whilst listening to reggae.

then when the concert started we were just ants in a stampede. tried getting into the crowd, but couldn’t see anything and kept getting pushed around. so we opted to walk around to the other side, and to our advantage there were some people just leaving off of some benches. so we hopped right on up, and BAM perfect view:)

nas and damian marley played some really good songs. some of my favorites were ‘welcome to jamrock,’ ‘i can,’ and even a bob marley song ‘you could be loved.’

i had a massive blonde moment this morning. i went down to check on the laundry and as soon as i had closed the door i knew it.

i’d locked myself out. no phone, no wallet. nothing. just the keys to the laundry room.

thank god leif lives close by, AND has a spare set of keys. i had to wake him up from his sleep to get the spare keys.

but now all is in order and i’m back in emmelies apartment. just need to get the keys back to leif later on!

went around the city a bit more yesterday.

simon and i met up with my sister and we had a coffee with her at the top of kulturhuset in the sun! beautiful view.

then we wandered over to the city hall and had a look around. once again, beautiful!

we were meant to have lunch in the old city for from shellfish and whatnot, but of course they closed 20 minutes before we got there!!

so we opted for a not so great caesar salad, but we made up for it with some newly made ice cream cones and marvelous ice cream!

then we saw the royal palace, simon once again wasn’t happy with me being a tourist and making him take pictures.. ha!

we went to leif’s to watch the football, yay for USA and England!! and had some yummy rhubarb and raspberry pie

after we took a walk around the lakes here in råsunda, and enjoyed some more of the lovely weather!

So on Wednesday i was sat at my sister’s mostly just hanging out and playing around with her camera, as you might have seen

However, as traditions have it we went to Leif’s for dinner. Pancakes of course he makes the best ones! It’s like eating dessert, but soo much better.

Leif’s a bit of a sport freak so as soon as the nightly football game began, we decided to head out.

It was meant for us to swing by Evelina’s apartment to pick up Emmelie’s keys. We didn’t swing by, we sat there chatting and drinking until the morning time!

It was so nice to be together again though. Two girls i used to live with, oh the amount of good and bad times we had together.

Poor Emmelie had to go to work on very little sleep, and i can tell you i wasn’t on top form on Thursday either!

Worth it? YES.

went out earlier for a brief walk. bought a popsicle and enjoyed the nice weather!

now i’m off to leif’s for dinner. pancakes as usual, gotta keep up the traditions! meeting my sister there as well.

can’t wait to eat leif always makes the best pancakes, big, thin, and delicious. mouth is already watering!
