last weekend was like nothing i’ve ever experienced before. i wouldn’t have had it any other way than it was.

i was with my family and friends, the people closest to me. the people i can trust with anything.

we were a very diverse group, old friends, new, family, even dogs! but it still worked.

we had a spontaneous night on thursday (drankers) and then friday we ate a lovely lunch and then dinner. danced for a bit as well..

saturday and sunday were a bit more chilled out. layed in the sun. took the boat out. enjoyed the company. ate good food.

there’s so much that i can’t even write it all out, and trust me it’d be nothing like the real thing. but all you need to know is that midsummer in skärgården was absolutely fanfuckingtastic!

going to be out in skärgården over the weekend and will most likely NOT be on the computer. so no updates until sunday night or even monday!

plans kind of changed gradually as the day progressed, but that’s life!

drove to the marina, correction I drove to the marina. dropped dad and uncles girlfriend off.

they took the boat out to the cottage, i drove grandma’s car and her, and my uncle took his car.

after a little bit more than an hour and some intense searching we found the cottage!

unpacked the car and then had some coffee with the family. after a quick walk to the place where all the kids swim grandma decided she was too tired and wanted to go home.

then after laying out in the sun and reading for a bit, hanna and her dad and brother came around.

we then took the boat out for a little quick look about. my god there are some amazing houses around here!!

after planning out food and whatnot for midsummer they went home, and daddy and i had a lovely dinner out on the terrace.

so beautiful out here, i never wanna leave!

to fix everything. plan everything. and sort everything out. we’ve rented a house in sweden for midsummer week and i am STOKED. so excited! be with the family, friends, and boyfriend. in the archipelagos as well! so prettttty. it’s a seafront property and it’s got a sauna and i have a feeling it might rain all midsummer (always does) but i could care less.

going to sweden at the end of june for midsummer with some family and whatnot. going for a little over a week. sister’s been nice enough to offer me her apartment for the time i’m there as well. that is of course as long as i don’t mess anything up! i am quite jealous of her to be honest. she’s got a paying job. an apartment. a life. i haven’t even started my degree yet. frustrating but that’s beside the point. either way the big surprise this year is that simon’s coming with me! he gets to see swedes at their best.. drunk on midsummer, haha! either way im looking forward to it a lot!

so todays my last day with my lovely guests. dear lord have we ate a whole bunch of junk food. good thing ill have nothing better than go to the gym next week time flies by too fast, but ive had a great time with jonas and rebecca here and i hope they didnt think i was too much of a bitchy host! anyways today we went downtown to get jonas new shoes. we stumbled upon a midsummer festival in temple bar area..

we then went to penneys were rebecca has shopped her little butt off, and jonas got new shoes. then we saw the night at the museum 2.. better than i thought it would be.

i just thought it was funny that so many people from other movies ive seen recently were in it. one guy from the hangover, 2 or 3 from superbad, ha! but yeah.. we just finished dinner which i made and tonight were gunna hang out and enjoy the last moments we have together hehe

haha so yesterday was midsummer, pretty much the equivilent of the american thanksgiving i guess. except that swedes get really drunk. we tried to pretty much do it the traditional way so we made a yummy dinner. potatoes, salmon, and a salad. no pickled herring thank god. then some strawberries and ice cream for dessert

anyways then we went to cafe en seine for a while until i got really hungry again. then we went home and danced around red poles instead of a midsummer pole? yeah.. it worked. anyways that was about it.

i made a super deal on a dress from river island that used to cost like 40 euro, but i got it for 13 yeeeuh, its gunna be my favorite this summer. so get ready to see it a lot in pictures. also i realized i had the PERFECT eye shadow to match. good stuff eh?
