So you can take your class, shake your ass, and drown in that martini

at first me and emps went to leif’s for dinner. guess what we ate? yep. pancakes! yuuuuummy! then we made way to Gröna Lund.

the bus there wasn’t exactly glamourous. squished. smelly. hot. nasty. ugh. might as well have walked! but we made it, and got into the park, had a beer in the pub whilst listening to reggae.

then when the concert started we were just ants in a stampede. tried getting into the crowd, but couldn’t see anything and kept getting pushed around. so we opted to walk around to the other side, and to our advantage there were some people just leaving off of some benches. so we hopped right on up, and BAM perfect view:)

nas and damian marley played some really good songs. some of my favorites were ‘welcome to jamrock,’ ‘i can,’ and even a bob marley song ‘you could be loved.’

‘no summer without reggae!’ going to Gröna Lund tonight with sister, Emmelie! going to see Damian Marley and Nas, since one of the music festivals here in sweden shut down they’re giving a free concert. SWEET! will let you know how it was tomorrow..

downloaded Robyn’s new cd. one of the three coming out this summer apparently! at first i wasn’t a massive fan, but the more you listen to it the more it sticks and the more i love it. she’s original and herself. loves it.

Been listening to Christina Aguilera’s new album Bionic all morning. Not bad. Not great. There’s a couple of really good songs. Of course the two singles have already been released, not myself tonight and woohoo. However i really like Lift me up, and Vanity.

feels like i’ve been out of the country or something today. went to regent’s street, but then quickly realized there wasn’t that much to see at the spanish festival. lines were too long for food, there weren’t any drinks. no sangria or manchego cheese. a bit disappointed!

there was a bit of sports stuff! basketball, golf, formula one racing, football. when leaving we got free vitamin water!!

after that we moved on to the camden green festival in regent’s park which is only a short walk away.

realized it was a total hippie-fest! although, it’s made me wanna go to a music festival so bad, so me and simon are looking at going to one in leeds during august, should be a good time. no make-up and a lot of nastiness i guess? we’ll see what happens! sat down, since the weather was completely wrong, no rain just sunshine. enjoyed the sun, listened to music and watched capoeira. the kids doing it was really cute!
