Simon was well keen on renting a little ‘fishing’ boat for a day when we were in Greece. so one morning we all got up really early and went down to the Nissaki pier and rented one.
looking back at the pictures now, i want to be back in Greece. it was so nice just reading a book and cruising around on the waters..

whenever we found little coves we decided to stop in and see what the waters were like, and some were nicer than others.

scuba simon was in the water at every stop we made.

then we found a cove that had a stone beach, and the water was clear as anything! never mind that the water was actually warm as well.

thought i had died and gone to heaven, Simon however had to deal with the boat

then as we were heading back to the pier to return the boat, we spotted some dolphins! there were about 6 of them, however a bit hard to capture on camera.

thought it was a pretty good ending to a pretty good day out and about on the water!

After a couple of days of looking out over the water and seeing some people parasail Simon and I decided to go for it. I’m generally scared of heights and after a tiny scream, we were up in the air and it was so worth it. Was really cool and would love to do it again.. maybe for a bit longer this time

Landing in the water was a bit creepy though, figured they’d slow down a bit more but apparently NOT, haha. I got my hair wet, but not my bun? looked a state when we got out the water.

yesterday i was out on the deep blue sea swimming and soaking up the sun. today i’m sat here with a slow internet connection looking out to the cold and the rain. WHY? why can’t london be having a heat wave as well? at this rate my tan will be nonexistent by next week.

after everything went well at the dentist pappa picked me and hanna up (we had appointments after each other).

we then took the boat out since it was such a lovely day! enjoyed the sun, swam, and felt the heat. had to drop hanna off in town around 1ish, and then me and pappa continued driving around and stopping to swim every so often. absolutely love being out on the sea when the weather’s this nice.

after we’d packed everything into the boat, we went to pick up hanna. she gladly jumped in from the dock.

cruised around for a couple of hours, cause the weather wasn’t really in our favor. cloudy.

however, shortly after noon the sun came out! we anchored the boat by a lovely sand beach and ate lunch.

then after dad tired of fishing, we cruised some more. ended up at fjäderholmarna for dinner.

then cruised all the way back to the boat club. dropped hanna off at home and then dad and i were too tired to do much else.

being out on the water for a full day really tires you, no joke! .

going out today on the boat with pappa and hanna the weather’s supposed to be really good today again (so lucky!).

off we go. will be gone until sunday sometime. ADIOS!

last weekend was like nothing i’ve ever experienced before. i wouldn’t have had it any other way than it was.

i was with my family and friends, the people closest to me. the people i can trust with anything.

we were a very diverse group, old friends, new, family, even dogs! but it still worked.

we had a spontaneous night on thursday (drankers) and then friday we ate a lovely lunch and then dinner. danced for a bit as well..

saturday and sunday were a bit more chilled out. layed in the sun. took the boat out. enjoyed the company. ate good food.

there’s so much that i can’t even write it all out, and trust me it’d be nothing like the real thing. but all you need to know is that midsummer in skärgården was absolutely fanfuckingtastic!

plans kind of changed gradually as the day progressed, but that’s life!

drove to the marina, correction I drove to the marina. dropped dad and uncles girlfriend off.

they took the boat out to the cottage, i drove grandma’s car and her, and my uncle took his car.

after a little bit more than an hour and some intense searching we found the cottage!

unpacked the car and then had some coffee with the family. after a quick walk to the place where all the kids swim grandma decided she was too tired and wanted to go home.

then after laying out in the sun and reading for a bit, hanna and her dad and brother came around.

we then took the boat out for a little quick look about. my god there are some amazing houses around here!!

after planning out food and whatnot for midsummer they went home, and daddy and i had a lovely dinner out on the terrace.

so beautiful out here, i never wanna leave!

weather forecast says there’s gunna be rain, doens’t look like it but let’s hope not!!
