the whole time we were in paris the weather was pretty okay, not too warm but not too cold. then of course the 3 hours that we were gonna spend on the eiffel tower it rained and was so windy and cold!

we had even booked tickets so we wouldn’t have to wait too long in line.. but then the elevator broke. i felt like cattle being rammed into a small area go to to my death. luckily once we got up it wasn’t too bad.

even had a glass of champagne at the top, and then had a look around being heading back down again.

then we walked a bit further away to take some pictures, some serious and some.. not so serious.

was stood in the middle of the road to take one single picture.. can you tell im well scared?

decided not to go up on top of the arc this time around as i went up with my parents last april, didn’t feel necessary to do it again!

got the pictures off of simon’s camera. they’re a bit better than mine! plus you can see that the sun was out, the weather was really nice luckily enough!

there were so many steps! got all hot and bothered on the way up. saw a couple actually fall on the way down :/ so we took it quite easy. better safe than sorry..

not too far away from where we were staying in paris was the Luxembourg gardens! bigger than i thought and quite nice. wish it would’ve been warmer though and we could’ve had lunch there!

jules flat was amaaaazing. much bigger than mine, haaa surprise. no but he had a bed that came down from the ceiling (?!) and a fully stocked bar, not to mention a huge tv that we never even looked at. appreciated staying there so much!

Day 1.

1. I find it extremely hard to find shoes that actually fit my feet.
2. I have no clue what i want from life, except for happiness.
3. I love family vacations.
4. I’m really short.
5. I’ll watch any crime shows.
6. My favourite drinks include Mojito’s, Champagne, and Southern Comfort with lemonade!
7. I love dogs, and call all dogs puppies, no matter how old they are.
8. I’m virtually talentless.
9. I’m self-destructive.
10. I’ve got thick hair.

was watching come dine with me when they served il flottante.. had it in paris and it was AMAZING.

had to do with my own dinner.. a not so appetising sight of filled pasta with pesto and cherry tomatoes.

just got home from my morning lecture and the gym. holy hell i was so sweaty and tired!! needed that after all the goodies in france

gonna jump in the shower, have lunch, then do some work before my evening lecture.

the joys of being a student..

simon and i went to montmartre one day in paris. its a church that’s a bit outside of central paris, but it’s on a hill so you can see pretty much everything from the top. pretty impressive.

got the metro there.. mistake. i hated every moment of it. horrible system. smelly and confusing.

stopped by moulin rouge on the way home as well, just because. ate our ‘packed lunch’ outside and enjoyed being together in paris. nothing compares to a fresh baguette… ah heaven!
