Last week i went to dinner with my parents at Capital Grill, and it was great! service, food, atmosphere.. all of it was good, it was a really enjoyable evening. I had the shrimp stuffed with crab and lobster for a main and it melted in my mouth.

Wore my new heels and and old dress to dinner, at least i was comfortable.

Last night my parents, Michael (who’s visiting from Dublin), and I went to Saltgrass steakhouse. Michael finished off a 24 oz. steak, i had some amazing grilled shrimp! Managed to finish off a bottle of wine with my mother as well.

The first meal out i had here in Dallas was with my mum at Chili’s. Their queso (pictured above) used to be much better, but their Caribbean salad is to die for. Loving the free refills as well ;)

went to dinner at a chinese restaurant across the street called “wok inn”… can’t say i’m impressed or will be going back anytime soon, but hey at least it was cheap! now i’m on the couch waiting for the EMA red carpet show to begin.. wanna see some celebrities! two swedish bloggers are at the event too so i’ll keep an eye out for them ;)

on a side note i’m ready for winter! want to cuddle up all warm in my flat drinking chai tea and cuddling with my… pillows? god i want a puppy. if only i had a spare 2,500 pounds.. er.

went to brunch a while back at the camden bar & kitchen, and if you’re ever in the area i strongly recommend it. the atmoshpere and the food was delicious. good coffee as well.

started with a glass of fresh orange juice and then i ate a yogurt muesli with fresh fruit. if i could start the day like this every day i totally would!

so after lectures yesterday i went into central to meet up with Pia and Hanna. we started off by walking to a japanese restaurant that was somewhere in between regent’s street and new bond street. i had sushi and we all shared a bit of vegetable tempura. looking at the picture now makes me hungry. the food was so good!

after lunch we moved on to do a little bit of shopping ;) always a good shout if you ask me! we walked to selfridges and that’s where i fell in love.

will you show you what i got later, either way i’m ridiculously happy about it. so after Hanna and i both got our shopping fix we moved onto the wonder bar and drank a bottle of champagne. i don’t think you understand how delighted i was. it was a lovely day and i don’t think i can thank Pia enough!

going to dinner at my favourite restaurant. relearning to enjoy the good things in life, hopefully without the guilt this time.

Liston

One day in Greece we decided to venture into Corfu Town and ate at this superb restaurant called the Liston.

Simon had a club sandwhich and chips that were amazing. i was secretly kind of jealous, but then again my Greek bruschetta was delicious as well, so i didn’t hold the grudge for long ;)

i definitely recommend the restaurant to anyone going to Corfu Town, the service was good and there were loads of tables so no queuing for a lunch or dinner. Oh and in the bathrooms it said Kings and Queens, and i thought it was adorable, hehe.

One night..

Just some more pictures from one of the nights in Corfu. We found our favourite restaurant by the water, which had delicious Greek salads, and then we moved on to the pool table and bar most nights. I played well until i had too many drinks..
