After breakfast my father and i walked down to kings cross past the British library, and then got on the tube to get to Kew gardens out in Richmond.

The royal gardens is massive, i just didn’t imagine it would be quite so big. Really doesn’t feel like you’re in London at all when you’re out there.

dad felt a bit at home when he saw all the ‘desert’ plants and the cactus plants. i loved smelling the roses, although not quite as impressive as the one’s in Regent’s park.

so the hotel we stayed at happened to be located right behind Richmond uni.

only because at the time when dad booked the trip i was planning on studying there. i have to say the campus is small, but very peaceful. the whole little ‘city’ there is to die for. so cute and pristine.

i really liked it and if it wasnt so far of a drive from downtown london, and the price of the school wasnt so insane, i would love to attend uni there.

oh god. what a weekend. time just goes WAY too fast. feels like it was just yesterday mom got here, but apparently not considering the fact that shes already on her plane back to dallas.  dads on his flight or maybe already landed in finland. emmelie just left and went to the airport, shes going back to sweden. crazy family. im the only one left here! at least dad will be back on tuesday, that way i wont get too lonely! then on wednesday daddy and i are going to london. i gotta look at london metropolitan, see if i like it. richmond was way to expensive and since they didnt offer my course, i just dont feel that its right for me anymore. london met feels better, plus cheaper and its still in the same city. i also dont know yet about trinity, im guessing theyll respond in a couple of weeks because i got a letter saying they are reviewing my application. then in a week or so its time to go to sweden! for now its time to chill out. the last couple of days have been no relaxation.. just a bunch of stuff to do all the time. you gotta appreciate getting a lot done though. as for today, laundry and some cleaning is on the to do list sorry it took so long for an update!

got into my THIRD university today. seems to be a bit more promising than richmond so i might be rethinking my studies a bit!! whooo. happy times. anyways im making dinner right now (wok!) so ill blog about today after! loves.

yesterday when i found out i got a scholarship, (was that really yesterday?), me and dad decided to buy some chocolates to celebrate! we were good too! we only ate half of them yesterday and finished up the rest tonight. they were yummy thats for sure! take a look at the luxury..

so yesterday i get this email from Richmond. theyre no longer offering the course i wanted to take, engineering of course. oh and yeah, they dont have architecture either. so im thinking shit, im screwed. however im going to start off at Richmond for the first two years (maybe?) and take the basics for a bachelors degree and some engineering then most likely transfer. who knows, i might be able to get into some schools if i actually send my grades! oh and then to sweeten the deal today i got another email i got a dean’s scholarship. 4,500 pound per year. not bad. thats like 6,600 dollars. better than nothing! so yeah, as long as my grades are above a 3.0 im good to go. so well see how this goes. oh and also cambridge is cheaper than richmond. explain that please? so im thinking if i work hard and get my grades up at richmond i can apply to cambridge and hopefully some success will come. but im not getting my hopes up.. yet.
