Christmas party

December 19th, 2011 No comments

I wore pants from River Island on saturday night, with my new sequinned blazer and Jeffrey Campbell shoes. Ziggy wore his elf costume, and there were loads of good snacks laying around. One of the girls even brought home-made chocolate dipped strawberries, YUM!

Boat trip

August 28th, 2011 No comments

Simon was well keen on renting a little ‘fishing’ boat for a day when we were in Greece. so one morning we all got up really early and went down to the Nissaki pier and rented one.
looking back at the pictures now, i want to be back in Greece. it was so nice just reading a book and cruising around on the waters..

whenever we found little coves we decided to stop in and see what the waters were like, and some were nicer than others.

scuba simon was in the water at every stop we made.

then we found a cove that had a stone beach, and the water was clear as anything! never mind that the water was actually warm as well.

thought i had died and gone to heaven, Simon however had to deal with the boat ;)

then as we were heading back to the pier to return the boat, we spotted some dolphins! there were about 6 of them, however a bit hard to capture on camera.

thought it was a pretty good ending to a pretty good day out and about on the water!

Upon Arrival

We got to the villa after dark, and then decided to go out for a quick meal and investigate more in the morning.

The view was incredible, and the pool was a luxury i wouldn’t want to live without. Nevermind the one-eyed cat that stuck around for a couple of days, how very Greek.

Bikini times

June 8th, 2011 1 comment

went to oxford street with simon yesterday to look for a new bikini. convinced myself that if i had a new one that looked good on i would stop freaking out about my ‘beach body’.

found two at river island..

i like the pink one with rhinestones on it the best cause it’s a really nice color in real life, and the bikini bottoms fit really well in the front. however my lack of bottom is a continous problem when it comes to bikinis. the second one is okay, i tried on the purple one and didn’t love it. but i saw a girl trying it on in pink and she was really tan, and it looked fabulous. plus the flowers give the illusion of bigger boobies.

I wear the pants..

You only live once

March 5th, 2011 No comments

the sun was shining outside yesterday so simon and i walked into wood green and did some shopping. so much for saving money and the whole budget thing, but you know what you only live once and i felt like treating myself to some not so expensive things after my exams. it is what it is.

two tops from h&m, one was 5£ and the other 6£.. not overly expensive eh?

the white one is going to be so nice in the summer, when im tan with some jean shorts. can’t wait. simon said i was playing it safe with the second top, but the coral color and blue just didn’t suit me. pale pink it is.. hehe

and then to my favorite from river island.. been keeping an eye on these for a while now. just gonna find some safety pins to make them a bit tighter around the waist. gonna look stunning with some massive heels and a tight top with them. loves it.

Weekend with Emmelie

November 22nd, 2010 1 comment

thursday night when emmelie arrived we went to carnaby street for a few drinks in the pub with my father, then to leicster square for a pint as well. a pretty early night, then dad left for sweden in the morning.

friday we went shopping, figured it was better to get oxford street out the way before the weekend madness. primark, topshop, river island, you name it we were there. i ended up with a pair of shorts (christmas present from emps) and a tshirt.

emmelie on the other hand ended up with a little less. then we lunched at cha cha moon off of carnaby street :) and once again ended up in a pub.

cha cha moon

then we walked back to marylebone, bought wine, crackers, and cheese. didn’t really have a proper dinner but that didn’t stop us from drinking and going out! we decided on pacha, which i’ve never been to, and it was a good night. short lived but still good.

then in the morning we walked through my school, regent’s park, and then to camden. had the best bento box lunch i’ve ever had. don’t think emmelie enjoyed hers as much.

Picture 5

we wandered through the market for hours before deciding to get the bus home.

met up with simon in covent garden in the evening and ate at a mexican restaurant, and the torillas were very nice. tacos had a bit too much chicken in them but it was edible. simon said mexican food looked like ‘sick’, which to be fair is rather true. then another pub and more wine. simon was tired to he left us, so emmelie and i decided to stay for one more drink then we headed home. early nice since we were so tired.

yesterday we were both pretty slow, mentally and psychically. wandered down to selfridges had a look around, had a lovely soup lunch at a french bakery. then we wandered around for a bit before going to winter wonderland.

i haven’t laughed as hard as i did when we came out of the ‘haunted house’. was really enjoyable. then we head for dinner, yet again off of carnaby street. a korean restaurant where the food is cooked on a grill on the table.. so not impressed and will probably not be going back.
