watching a movie. drinking cheap wine. and just ate a baked potato with chili con carne!

after doing some laundry, and food shopping simon and i made lunch

hot dogs hehe. it felt fitting considering the lovely weather plus it being summer and all!

then after that we got our asses into gear and went downtown. walked around for a bit, showed simon a couple of the things he needs to see in stockholm.

went into gamla stan, the old city and took a seat next to the water and had a glass of rose.

then walked around a bit more and decided to come back home.

after simon’s long trip he’s a bit tired, and in bed already. ha!

more touristy things to come tomorrow.. blogging may be shit by the way for the next couple of days!

walked to selfridges after the flat viewing and decided to do a nice tonight tonight before i leave for sweden. so simon and i got some cod, a bottle of rose, and new potatoes! so i’m hoping this ends nicely.

obviously when you go to Champagne you’ve got to drink it, and visit the champagne houses, no?

first up we had booked a tour of veuve clicquot and it was the first one we drank. drank the grande dame, can’t remember what year it was, 1998 maybe? either was it was delicious, and really just got us started. the history behind the champagne was ridiculously cool as well. each step on the way out represented a year when they had made a vintage. mom and dad weren’t vintages but me and emmelie were!

them we visited Mumm as well, after me and my sister had drank it all night long haha. it was also a really good tour. you got a different feeling from it. more open to questions. afterwards my mom bought a bottle. my sister bought two. and i bought one. guess we really enjoyed it.

those were the only two big houses we visited, of course we drank moet and tattinger as well! oh and the amount of unknown champagnes we drank.. mmmmm. don’t know how i’ll ever go back to drinking anything else ever again!

so the last day without the boys was yesterday, granted i missed simon like no other but it was still nice to just be us. for the kitchen to stay clean. for the flat to be quite. for some girl time. we went to camden to soak up the lovely weather and i had a nice pub lunch. i know it doesn’t sound nice but there’s nothing like a fresh salad when the sun is shining outside. we had a few drinks and just spent the day lounging around. very nice! planned to go out for our last night but when we got in everyone was too tired and lazy, no regrets there! simon came and woke me up at 5 when id gone to bed at like 2-3. bet my breath was a nice welcome home present, ha!

so last night we went out to dinner to celebrate a friend of jonas 18th birthday. wouldnt say i was impressed with the restaurant or anything but it worked. on the way we bought her a pretty rose, i love flowers sometimes. wish i bought them for myself more often, its just that they die so quickly! i wore a shirt that i used to work in, i think its from the limited, not sure though. also my skirt from American Apparel, surprise surprise. then to top it all off i wore my lovely heels from nine west gotta love it even though i got some blisters! then me and jonas came home and i switched to sweats and we watched tv. early night last night, so well see how tonight goes. nothing planned yet so im guessing i wont feel to bad tomorrow! were going to visit Hanna and her padres in crime village, hehe. anyways gotta run!
