Lunch break
on Thursday Alexandra and i decided that all the food at uni looked rather unappealing, so we headed out to Pret to pick up some lunch. but then i remembered that Chipotle had just opened on Baker St.!

talk about a happy girl. granted it’s not as great as it is in the states, but still fulfilling. i had a burrito bowl and it filled the gap. we were lucky we went at the time we did though, because when we were leaving the line was out the door! reminded me of Dallas lunchtime
One night..
Just some more pictures from one of the nights in Corfu. We found our favourite restaurant by the water, which had delicious Greek salads, and then we moved on to the pool table and bar most nights. I played well until i had too many drinks..
Fat Friday?
just having my lunch break at work, well technically eating, blogging, and printing things off at the same time. today’s just been busy work really.
just had lentil and mushroom broth soup with a piece of baguette, which has filled me up rather well. so i’ve still got a pasta salad waiting for me later on today.

simon’s coming over tonight after i finish work so we’re gonna go for sushi again. (i’ve yet to blog about the last time.. maybe should update you guys tomorrow on what’s been going on in my life..)
anyways realised there’s a place across the street from me that delivers.. lazy i know, but they do loads of sushi and i really fancy a couple of different rolls and so does the boy.
why is my life constantly revolving around food? is it boring to read about?
Monday Madness
on monday simon and i had a cheap lunch at pret. we were sat outside in the sun on marylebone high street and i was loving life. can’t say i’d recommend their pasta salad though…
Metropolitan
simon took me out for dinner. we went to the wetherspoons as baker street. not too expensive in other words
so happy i’ve got such a nice guy that knows automatically when i’m not feeling 100% and makes sure that i’m back to happy in less than 60 seconds. couldn’t ask for more.
had a caesar salad, not the best, but edible! simon had a lovely burger with.. dare i say it?.. chips! yummy.
enjoyed chatting over a glass of wine. he’s off to pick up one of his better mates at waterloo and then i’m off back to wetherspoons in an hour or so to meet people for drinks.. and who knows maybe some clubbing? ajaj daddy wouldn’t approve, haha!
Galleria Dallas
went shopping at the galleria a couple of days ago with my mother. never realised they’ve got the tallest indoor christmas tree in the whole entire united states. weird huh?
stopped for lunch at corner bakery and had a lovely salad with some really good black current iced tea! lovely, will have to go back soon.
Health attack
eating a lovely little salad with falafel and hummus for lunch. mmmm, yummy.

jalapeno red pepper is my favourite hummus at the moment!
Hot plate

instead of a fondue for dinner, simon and i got the hot plate out! king prawns, calamari, chicken.. all of it as tasty as it sounds. of course a little salad with it as well! must say though, budweiser barbeque sauce is the shit. AMAZING.
Sunshine
went around the city a bit more yesterday.
simon and i met up with my sister and we had a coffee with her at the top of kulturhuset in the sun! beautiful view.
then we wandered over to the city hall and had a look around. once again, beautiful!

we were meant to have lunch in the old city for from shellfish and whatnot, but of course they closed 20 minutes before we got there!!

so we opted for a not so great caesar salad, but we made up for it with some newly made ice cream cones and marvelous ice cream!
then we saw the royal palace, simon once again wasn’t happy with me being a tourist and making him take pictures.. ha!

we went to leif’s to watch the football, yay for USA and England!! and had some yummy rhubarb and raspberry pie
after we took a walk around the lakes here in råsunda, and enjoyed some more of the lovely weather!
