when we were out last night everyone ended up looking around for simon and chloe. where had they gone? to smoke of course.

now don’t think i’m some kind of hypocrite, cause i’m not. i’m not saying smoking is evil and that people shouldn’t smoke. granted, smoking isn’t good for you. people honestly shouldn’t smoke either, but most of us have.

i’ve smoked. i didn’t make it public because well.. i don’t think it’s something to be proud of. it was just like every other bad habit i’ve ever had, a waste of money, time, and health.

it’s easier for me to bring light on a subject when my hands are clean.

i started smoking a lot when i moved to london. my money ran away from me with every flick of my lighter. then i gradually slowed down. ‘party smoked’ as i call it. smoked when i drank. then i cut back even more, smoked when i was stressed or felt fidgety. then i just stopped one day. i didn’t decide to stop smoking, i even said i hadn’t quit. it made it easier knowing i was allowed to smoke whenever i wanted. funny thing is, i’ve never physically ‘craved’ a cigarette, mentally maybe.

so months gone by since even having a drag from the cancer sticks and i’ve got to say that i find cigarettes ridiculously annoying now. the smell gets to me like no other as well.

what i’m getting at is that non-smokers shouldn’t have to give respect to smokers. i shouldn’t have to move away from the smoke you’re blowing in my face (granted half the time you don’t even know your doing it). i shouldn’t have to cease my dancing to find where the smokers have disappeared to. i shouldn’t have to work around your smoking habit.

if anything i think that becoming a ‘non-smoker’ has lead me to become more aware of my surroundings and i just wish ‘smokers’ would realize it as well.

i think not. didn’t realize this until now but a cop in fort worth was arrested a couple of weeks back for smoking marijuana.. in his cop car!! it was set up after someone had reported they saw him smoking in his uniform. so when he arrested a citizen with marijuana, instead of reporting it like he should have he kept it himself. i am so not surprised. i’ve always said this happened. the amount of weed people smoke in dallas/fort worth is ridiculous anyways. to the point where even police can’t seem to see where the boundary of right and wrong goes? thoughts?

yesterday was 4/20, a typical day for some, but so much more for others. it’s known as a ‘holiday’ for people who smoke weed (cannabis/mary jane/marijuana). People get together to just smoke. to bask in the loveliness that is marijuana. 2 years ago i would’ve been right beside those people. I would’ve been toking up because it seemed like a good idea at the time. I don’t advocate or condone the usage of marijuana, to be honest i couldn’t care less anymore. Whatever decision you make at the end of the day, that’s up to you. you live with your own choices, and you deal with the consequences. I just find it funny how i can be at such a different place in only two years time. people can and people do change.

thoughts on marijuana?

gotta love those chill nights where you just sit and hang around with friends. it started with me holly and jonas playing sims 3.. addicting? uh no joke!

then we decided since davids so hairy we wanted to try the trimmer on him HA!

then after some goofing around and whatnot we went outside on the patio and cheeled. had to use the hookah for the first time in sweden you know

not everybody smoked.. although i have to say its pretty pointless. the hookah ‘tobacco’ we use has no nicotine and no tobacco in it. you just smoking to have something to do. it has no affect on your mind or lungs.. still i like so yeah.

then there was apparently some fire at a trash station in stockholm and the smoke was EVERYWHERE so people started heading home.

so the first day they came we went up to the penthouse terrace to enjoy the weather

rebecca got me a hookah as a thank you for letting her stay with us. however unnecessary it was it was a good idea. hehe. mom and dad, dont freak. theres no nicotine, and no tobacco. really if you think about it its kind of silly, but its very chill to sit and smoke.

yeah call me a nerd but im researching 420. also known as April 20th. the day that represents cannabis culture. people get together to smoke, some do it alone to protest and work towards legalization. i remember one year coming to school and id say 80% of the students were high. not me though. seems as though all the drugs and smoking i did never coincided with 420. every once in a while id get together with some friends and we would light up at 4:20 p.m. but thats about as close as ive gotten to the true holiday. question is should we legalize marijuana? pros? cons? well theres a different story for every side. i wanna hear yours!

ahh see! dad sitting on the park bench and enjoying the sun. we went back to stephens green, not on purpose just ended up there. we got some left over bread and went down to feed elliott, but he was nowhere in sight. so we walked and ended up there. stopped at a store bought two muffins and a diet coke for me and a coffee for papi. it was so nice to just sit in the sun. the wind was nowhere to be found so it was warm. almost too warm for my uggs. i was going to feed the swans and ducks there, but by the looks of all the people and bread around they werent hungry so i ended up sitting next to an old lady feeding the pigeons. yep. thats me. 

then after soaking up all the sun we could get we went on a further walk. ended up seeing the first pub i ever went to in Dublin go up in flames. heres a picture of the firefighters trying to put the fire out. crazy smoke and water flowing on the street outside.

we then continued our ‘little’ walk that turned into a 5 hour walk. we ended up at irelands oldest pub! dad had a guinness like usual. from the pictures i put up it looks like hes an alcoholic. i swear he doesnt drink that much he works too! he works ten times more than he drinks, i just dont find those pictures interesting. 

after all of that we then went to have dinner at diwali or something like that.. indian food. i like! no i love! i had masala with chick peas. yummy yummy. then we walked home too. by the time we got home i was HOT from the speed walking and the sun and just my luck.. the elevator was broken. so up we go 6 flights of stairs. makes me wonder if all i do at the gym does nothing for me? times like those im happy we dont live in the penthouse! anyways i think i got my fair share of exercise today even if i didnt go to the gym this morning!
