just paid rent, and just had to think to myself how lucky i am. lucky i’ve got such supportive parents. lucky i’ve got the privilege to live and study in london. lucky to have lived the last 10 months in marylebone.

i love my flat. i wish it was different in some aspects, but looking at moving makes me appreciate how great it’s been to live here. lucky to have been where i have been. lucky to be coming home to this.

i don’t want to leave marylebone, i don’t want to downgrade. i’m being a spoiled brat i know, but you can’t blame me. if you were in my situation you’d understand as well.

it’s been a luxury living here, and i’m so lucky that my parents have been willing to put up for the rent.

so thank you mamma and pappa, words can’t describe how happy it’s made me. how much of a convenience and luxury it’s been! to grateful i have you two.

as i was sweating while helping matt move his things yesterday on the tube, i was thinking about how different my life could be.

two years ago i was driving around in a car that was 2 years old. my parents paid for the gas, the insurance, and everything that came along with owning a car. i went to a private school. i wore new clothes and went shopping at least once a week. i didn’t have a care in the world.

today i’m still going to be attending a private school. my parents still help pay for rent and food. however so many things in between have changed.

i traded that car for public transport. i traded shopping for a flat in central london. i traded that chanel purse for a 12 year old one. i wear clothes from last season, and i barely ever have the money left over to go shopping.

now the question i asked myself is, which one was better? the material life or the city life? would i prefer to have anything i desire or do i want to pay out of my ass to live in a small flat?

the answer is i don’t care anymore. the material things, yes i still want them. i’d be a fool to say i didn’t. yes i want a car. i want a chanel bag. i want to be fed with a silver spoon.

now, in no way am i saying i’m not spoiled. because i am. simple as. but the difference is that today, i appreciate it. i know the value of money. and i know how much my parents are helping me, and i hope they know how thankful i am.

the quality of life is so much more important to me than the quality of my next pair of shoes. i’d rather be happy in a place i love than unhappy surrounded by money.

anyways.. met up with chloe after dinner since she was around yarm as well. went pub, wine bar, and then club.

ended up dancing in the keys, which was nice.. some girls started on chloe and her mom for some reason.. and then one asked simon if he wanted to have sex with her outside, haha classy nothern girls eh? but other than that, no more characters. you always seem to find them in the nightclubs!

left a bit before it closed and took a taxi home, only to get a foot rub from my dearest. ah spoiled much?

my grandmother, being the sweetheart she is and not taking no for an answer, bought me these lovely Flippa K leather gloves from a store called Jackie today. perfect for the fall/winter time in london! also i love the little details

3 tank tops. i got a black one, and my mom fixed my gray one so i returned two of the ones i bought and got new colors! one purple and one light blue.

two bikinis this ones from target, and cost more than the one below from GAP.

GAP always has amazing summer sales on their bikinis, from the beginning the top cost 30 dollars! thats 60 bucks for a bikini! mom got it for 11 hehe

also i got my favorite lotion!! some amazing sunscreen, face lotion, and a mascara. plus i got the sims 3 and a pair of sandals and flip flops. perfect for the summer time! so im spoiled.. but the clothes and whatnot were cheap, nothing expensive.. i promise!
