yesterday at the festival there was a marichi band singing in spanish and what not and i had some mexican wannabe food, it just made me REALLY want to go to mexico! ah the lovely food, nightlife, beach, sun, everything! let’s go?

okay so i told you i was gunna take a break from the blog and well it lasted a couple of hours. i guess i just didn’t feel like being serious and writing anything the last two days. i mean i went from non-stop busy all summer to.. well what it used to be. hanging around. its okay though, I’m enjoying the time i’ve got left before school starts! aaaah! can you believe I’m starting university in a month?? wow. guess it is time to grow up. growing up is so much more fun than actually being grown up!

so i thought i’d do a little recap of my summer. i know ive been kind of lousy at updating but ive been busy! so heres a little reminder of how amazing my summer of 2009 was

it started with Jonas & Rebecca coming to Dublin. It was one of the best weeks of my life! even if i was a bit  of an emotional disaster (i stopped taking my prozac for a while).

the week after was one of the most challenging weeks, when my dad entered the hospital for open heart surgery

then i travelled to Sweden for about a month. first stop? Skåne with Jonas and his family

then back to Stockholm to welcome my panda bear Ito to Sweden

I turned 18, finally legal! had a big birthday party at jonas’ house, and went out with my sister!

took a week in Mallorca, Spain with my boys. the beach and the bar sums it up!

then i went to texas for two weeks. with my sister, jonas, and mom! met old friends, and did some major shopping!

and thats not all! my summers not over yet hanna’s coming on thursday night!

after running some errands (returned my tights from AA, and picked up my purse) dad and i got some lunch and ate in St. Stephen Greens park. so nice out today!

i even got a tiny tiny tan line from my skirt ha! after that we moved on to Ftizsimons were we both took a drink on their rooftop terrace. can anyone inform me as to why there are so many hen and stag parties here in dublin?? (bachelorette and bachelor parties for you americanas!) anyways today was the ideal day considering its supposed to rain for the next couple of days!

okay so i feel like ive gotten a whole lot done here yet nothing at all so right now im not gunna update you guys on everything thats been going on the past couple of days. jonas leaves tomorrow morning and i leave in the afternoon. ill be sure to post pictures and whatnot when i get back to dublin! for now though.. wish me a safe and easy trip!

so yesterday me and jonas went up sort of early for a shopping day down at Northpark center. first we had lunch with stine and erik, such cuties. the funniest thing though was the server asked if we wanted to pay in couples, ha as if stine and erik were together.. maybe in her dreams no but seriously i had some yummy sushi and edamame (speaking of edamame i think im about to make some) anyways after that we went shopping! oddly enough jonas bought more than me but i got a pair of khakis from Abercrombie, sooo comfortable and perfect for london! then i got some things from American Apparel, duh! we stopped by the allen outlets on the way home for some last minute things so i got two new eye shadows, super cheap too! then after all that madness we stopped by stonebriar and picked up some shoes for me that were on hold.

so today we decided since mammas off of work to do some sightseeing and touristy things downtown. we went to Fort Worth, then the stock yard, then Dallas downtown and then we of course stopped by the willow bend mall on the way home. it was a pretty eventful day! jonas ate his first buffalo wings, and he got to see some real skyscrapers hehe. oh i almost forgot, he even sat on a texas longhorn!

so yesterday i bought more undies (from Victorias Secret), im obsessed i know but these are too cute and too cheap to say no to, plus im throwing a bunch of my old ones away. today i bought a new sweater for me to wear in cold and rainy london! also i got a incase sleeve for my baby macbook. very important that she doesnt get any scratches on her! hehe.

I havent done this in a while so i figured it was about time! im wearing my skirt/tube top/dress from American Apparel with a pair of shorts i got last summer at Zara. very chill after a crazy night! plus its so hot here you dont want to put too much clothes on! today were going out for lunch at some new area by my moms work and maybe some shopping

the other picture was horrible so i figured when i wore the dress yesterday id go ahead and get you guys some better pictures it looks way better on!
