im jealous of emmelie. two weeks in india. forget the culture and whatnot the warmth!! its cold here still and snowed yesterday. used to love it, but after mexico i got over it. i want warmth again. i want to lay out and tan!

the weather’s crazy good today! so i’m wearing my skirt from River Island and a regular tank with some flippity floppies! pretty simple. oh and im bringing my american apparel tights incase it gets colder tonight.. smart eh?

so i thought i’d do a little recap of my summer. i know ive been kind of lousy at updating but ive been busy! so heres a little reminder of how amazing my summer of 2009 was

it started with Jonas & Rebecca coming to Dublin. It was one of the best weeks of my life! even if i was a bit  of an emotional disaster (i stopped taking my prozac for a while).

the week after was one of the most challenging weeks, when my dad entered the hospital for open heart surgery

then i travelled to Sweden for about a month. first stop? Skåne with Jonas and his family

then back to Stockholm to welcome my panda bear Ito to Sweden

I turned 18, finally legal! had a big birthday party at jonas’ house, and went out with my sister!

took a week in Mallorca, Spain with my boys. the beach and the bar sums it up!

then i went to texas for two weeks. with my sister, jonas, and mom! met old friends, and did some major shopping!

and thats not all! my summers not over yet hanna’s coming on thursday night!

after running some errands (returned my tights from AA, and picked up my purse) dad and i got some lunch and ate in St. Stephen Greens park. so nice out today!

i even got a tiny tiny tan line from my skirt ha! after that we moved on to Ftizsimons were we both took a drink on their rooftop terrace. can anyone inform me as to why there are so many hen and stag parties here in dublin?? (bachelorette and bachelor parties for you americanas!) anyways today was the ideal day considering its supposed to rain for the next couple of days!

so today me and my pappa are going to pick up my purse and run some other errands downtown. plus the weather today is beautiful! so lets see where this day leads us? im wearing a high waisted skirt from Monki, and a shirt from Monki as well.. i guess i like monki today hahah. no but seriously i love their clothes, some of the most comfortable fashion forward items ever!

I havent done this in a while so i figured it was about time! im wearing my skirt/tube top/dress from American Apparel with a pair of shorts i got last summer at Zara. very chill after a crazy night! plus its so hot here you dont want to put too much clothes on! today were going out for lunch at some new area by my moms work and maybe some shopping

ito’s on his way to Dallas right now, and its okay because ill see him in two days! i leave for dallas on saturday yayayayayaya. excited? YEP!

the last bits from spain. now you will all have seen all the pictures. we really didnt use my camera that much because we basically got up in the morning, made breakfast and lunch (baguettes with cheese and jamon ahha) then took the bus to the beach then laid there until dinner, went home, ate and relaxed on the balcony. easy life huh?

what is it about a tan line that makes us so happy? i know when the summer comes around and im tan i forget about hating every inch of my body. i feel like its easier to accept my flaws when im tan. am i the only one? i enjoy being tan and soaking up the sun. i know my parents thought i was crazy when i signed up for a tanning membership in dallas (of all places!) but seriously its like my eating disorder has no say when im tan. my bikini fits better, i need less makeup, and i just all around love myself more when im tan. my dad doesnt get it, but why would he? being tan is like winning a trophy, you get to show it off. its a sign of summer, freedom, and relaxation. also the sun always reminds me of good vacations, family trips, summers, everything! am i the only one who feels like this?
