woke up relatively early today, and decided to get some blogging done and now i’m in need of some serious cleaning in my flat! the whole shabam, dishes, laundry, vacuuming.. bläää. oh well, it needs to be done, and when better to do it then a sunday? remind me to go to the post office later..

on Friday, Emmelie and I went out for dinner and some drinks. Started at a place called Arizona, had some quesadillas. edible but not the best food i’ve ever paid for. got a jug of sangria as well but it wasn’t great either. waaaay too sweet and.. not very authentic.

so without finishing me and Emmelie moved on to yet another place. a restaurant called Peppar. the bartenders worked there for 26 years.. can tell you he was good at making drinks! had one margarita and then moved onto white wine. after a few we moved on yet again to another pub.

sunday was our ‘hungover’ day. didn’t do much and ate all the junk in the world. went to Birkastan’s Pizzeria, it was so busy and after looking online i know why. it’s meant to be one of the best places in Stockholm.

the pizzas were SOOO BIG! and afterwards we went home for a movie night with coke, and peanut butter rings. nom nom nom. nice and healthy

saturday AND sunday, simon and i did NOTHING. went to the shop yesterday to load up on more food. oops, correction we’ve eaten and watched tv all weekend. so relaxing, probably the best thing for me when i needed to get over a cold!

i’ve finished my presentation for tomorrow as well so i should be sorted for that..

last sunday simon and i decided to cook a sunday roast. my last one before everything got hectic again. whilst the chicken was cooking in the oven we went for a cheeky stroll to marylebone high street. had coffees from the natural kitchen, and then headed home again.

the biggest luxury of all was having simon do most of the cooking, and then him even washing up afterwards.. can’t say he doesn’t spoil me (sometimes).

some randoms from my life this last week. the above is my university, regent’s college, in the beautiful sun. gorgeous campus in the middle of the park, me like.

bottom picture is from my outfit last sunday. sunglasses burberry, watch chanel, shorts h&m conscious collection. the shorts needed some ironing but i didn’t have time, they still look okay though. most comfortable things ever to wear in the summer.

Nice and easy does it on Sunday

on sunday morning simon and i got out of the house relatively early and had brunch outside the natural food kitchen in the sun before going food shopping. it was amazing.

had a lovely croissant with ham and cheese and an okay espresso to go with it. yummmyyy!

also bought a cake pan for the kitchen.. wasn’t the best but it’s usable

got up early today and went for breakfast. gah i love it when the suns out, however you can’t tell whatsoever in my flat. starting to look for a new one for the fall…

the chicken is roasting in the oven with the potatoes, the veggies are ready to be cooked, and i’ve even attempted an apple pie this sunday.

sundays are the best days. good food, good drinks, and good company.

before going to the shops on sunday simon and i sat outside in the sun at starbucks. nobody makes chai lattes like starbucks does, don’t know what it is but i loooove them there. can’t wait for summer, the springs starting to show itself, and all i want is more sunshine!

feels like i haven’t done anything this weekend. went out to the pub on friday with simon and richie for jules’ birthday. i swear i’ve never played the game spot the difference as much as i have this weekend.

richie and simon were both rather drunk on friday which meant yet another early night for me!

yesterday i went to meet jules and his parents who took us for a pub dinner and some drinks. champagne? yep. loves it. didn’t drink too much as my throat was killing me and i was ridiculously tired.

got up this morning and i could barely swallow. i feel like absolute poo and all i wanna do is go to the doctor and get some meds… but nooo not open on sundays are they? so unfortunately i think i’m gonna have to skip my morning class tomorrow and go as soon as they open. i’m like a zombie, i HATE being sick.
