Went to a hockey game last night, Dallas stars vs Detroit red wings. I thought it was a pretty good game, even though the stars were down one goal pretty much no matter how hard they tried. They lost 4-5 to the red wings, but I wasn’t too bothered seeing as there are so many swedes in their team.

Yesterday was the fourth advent as we call it in Sweden. although we didn’t drink any glögg, we managed to bake swedish lussekatter! they’re pretty much like saffron buns. traditional christmas goodies!  my dad made the dough, and then mom and i finished them off buy making them into S-shapes and putting raisins on. Also made cinnamon rolls for the first time yesterday! had a full day of baking

Hanna had two tickets to the Swedish Christmas tradition of St. Lucia in St. Paul’s church tonight, and since she wasn’t able to go she gave them to me! theres two tickets but only one of me, and since it was such short notice i don’t know if anyone will be able to come with me, i’m waiting to here back and if not i might just have to give it a miss but i really would like to see it! would be nice..

on Monday im flying to Dallas to spend christmas and new years with my parents. feels weird since we’ve been in mexico for the last two years, but i have to say i am pretty excited about some swedish christmas food and a christmas tree. although i wouldn’t mind quesadillas and palm trees

After a load of sunshine we decided to go out for drinks.. Simon’s was called ‘Blue Angel’ and tasted like nothing, and mine was an ‘Alcapulco’ and was super strong.

Everyone including Michael and Michelle got Swedish flags on their drinks (why i do not know) however i didn’t.. ironic?

gaaaah. exams are over my head is pounding. i should be so much happier and excited than this. instead i just feel like i want a big massive bottle of wine poured into me.

nevermind the fact that i’m already realising what it is i’ve forgotten to pack. baaaaaah.

by the way, i officially hate swedish girls. gatwick airport is like 99% of them, and i’ve forgotten how pretty they all are. self esteem: zero.

there’s a new swedish pop song out that’s nr 2 on the swedish itunes after a day.. it’s quite typically swedish but it sticks in your head so i’m not sure how i feel about it to be honest. not great but good.

alex actually need to go to the swedish pub to take pictures for a project so i’m tagging along. need a little break from all the revision as well. i’ve been doing work non-stop for the past 5ish hours? surprising i know!
