Emmelie and her boyfriend Robert are off to texas today. As much as i’m happy for them that they get a long three week vacation, i’m seething with jealousy. So hope you two enjoy your trip to Vegas with our brother, eat loads of good food, and of course shop

after doing some laundry, and food shopping simon and i made lunch

hot dogs hehe. it felt fitting considering the lovely weather plus it being summer and all!

then after that we got our asses into gear and went downtown. walked around for a bit, showed simon a couple of the things he needs to see in stockholm.

went into gamla stan, the old city and took a seat next to the water and had a glass of rose.

then walked around a bit more and decided to come back home.

after simon’s long trip he’s a bit tired, and in bed already. ha!

more touristy things to come tomorrow.. blogging may be shit by the way for the next couple of days!

whoever made the two hours before your flight rule clearly never travels. it’s really a waste of time and just drags out the whole journey even more.

oh well one more hour. then the flight’s like 3 hours i think? so excited to just get there!!

summer’s almost here. couple of weeks left at university, a few assignments to hand in, and finish off my portfolio. then it’s summer.. and you know the sad thing? i’m not excited. for the first time in my life i’m not excited about summer. i’ve got a trip to sweden planned, which should be awesome! but after that all i’ve got is two months, move to a new apartment. find a job, work as much as possible in the short amount of time i have. and then it’s back to uni. how exciting does that sound?

i’ll be in france! paris, and then champagne. oh lord i look forward to it. dad, sister, and i are all going to celebrate my mother’s 50th birthday. all i can say is that if i look that good at 50 im alright with it. either way it’ll be nice just to be with my family. to see my sister again. to feel like im out of harms way. to have a champagne breakfast and spoil my mother. oh all the luxuries. can’t wait!

seeing the sun outside makes me want to run away from real life and go on vacation. looked at tickets to dallas, only 400 pounds. 400 pounds that i dont have. why couldnt i get one of those jobs? it would’ve been nice with some cash for the summer. either way i found a cheap cheap cheap flight to sweden so im dragging simon with me for midsummer and at least ill see some family and whatnot then. cannot wait for paris next week! ash cloud move on!

went to a lovely city today not too far away from where simon’s is. accidentally came back with a pair of shoes. they are so lovely though and on sale so i figured why not… i’m planning on getting a job soon after easter anyways (hopefully!). it’s not too warm outside, but it’s not too cold. enjoying being taken care of again. home cooking. a big bed. a nice shower. ah living the life.

leaving in half an hour to go to Heathrow and catch my plane to DALLAS! get to see my mamma and daddy tonight and most likely some of my friends as well. plus i get to eat texmex! ill be even fatter when i get back :/ oh well ill worry about that then. could barely sleep tonight i’ve been so excited!

so i really enjoyed my long weekend at Simon’s up north. really relaxed and laid back, none of the bullshit you get here in London sometimes. Spent most of the time laying around, eating good home cooked food, and looking at the snow and/or playing in it! met some of his friends as well which was nice. To be honest if i wasn’t going home today and then to mexico i never would’ve left! comfortable bed and everything! plus when i did leave his mother made sure to take care of me. i got bagels, fruit and coke for the way home and breakfast in the morning so i wouldn’t have to go to tesco’s. an absolutely adorable family.
