in Salt Lake City we skied at both Solitude and Deer Valley. Solitude had some nice blue runs and we were in a big group so it was easy to do whatever you wanted since you didn’t really have to worry about holding anyone else up.

Then the last day my pappa and i went to Deer Valley on our own. Got lift passes from Greg through his work, and i don’t know what they were, clearly yearly passes, but when the employees saw them they almost tripped over themselves being so friendly.. i didn’t mind of course

A little clip of me skiing in solitude, i thought my dad was taking a picture so i’m skiing a wee bit slow!

On New Years Eve we trekked up through the snow to a mongolian yurt, where a five course dinner was made and served right before our eyes. After many bottles of wine we walked back down to the resort through the snow, and after falling once i realised it was pretty slippery outside. It was definitely an experience to say the least! never mind going to the bathroom which was outside the yurt.. so cold!

Above is a picture from new years eve, we went to the yurt at solitude and ate a five course meal. Think I’ve gained weight from this trip
sat at the airport now waiting to board our flight back to Dallas, so tomorrow I’ll try to put the rest of the pictures up and show my new shirt I bought as well!

Today dad and I went skiing on our own at the Deer Valley resort. It was a short run since we had to meet up for lunch with everyone else, and then pack and head to the airport.

Today we went tubing. There’s no where near as much snow up here as it normally is, so we’re saving the skiing for tomorrow. The place we went tubing at so was packed though, took us two hours to do two runs!

Had a lovely pasta dish for dinner, was too full to even eat dessert. Although I think it may have been due to the copious amount of wine we’ve consumed. After dinner we all sat around and chatted and then sugar (the dog) decided to get territorial about who got to pick her up.

Ah the family that we’re visiting are too good. A glass of red wine, and two presents to open. Got this lovely set of rings from Nordstrom, and aren’t they beautiful?

Went for a bit of shopping after lunch at a German place. Ate German Weiner, the side dishes weren’t the best, but the best bit of all? They had loads of Swedish products, so we bought home some caviar and cookies. Yummy!

Landed in Utah sound and safely after a three hour nap on the plane
