After breakfast my father and i walked down to kings cross past the British library, and then got on the tube to get to Kew gardens out in Richmond.

The royal gardens is massive, i just didn’t imagine it would be quite so big. Really doesn’t feel like you’re in London at all when you’re out there.

dad felt a bit at home when he saw all the ‘desert’ plants and the cactus plants. i loved smelling the roses, although not quite as impressive as the one’s in Regent’s park.

everyone’s going to Notting Hill Carnival tomorrow, and well i went last year and it wasn’t great to be honest. i thought i wanted to go, but now checking on how to get there i’m reaally not keen. either i get the bus which is subject to severe delays, or i get the tube will the other million people and change three times. wondering if it’s actually worth it?

figured i’d give you lot a bit of a peek into my new flat and whatnot…

had a crazy night out in camden last night..

started by pre-drinking at simon’s and playing some drinking games.. which lead to no drinking on mine or irish’s part so we decided to just drink anyways. regrettable decisions now.

made our way to camden and everyone on the tube HATED us, which fair enough i would’ve as well. then i saw my favourite bouncer at the ice wharf, told him i’d be around a lot more often now.. which he thought was good, my liver won’t think so.

moved on to lock 17  where johan was working in the bar and the guy is a genius when your drunk, but a mad man when your hungover the day after.

all in all, a brilliant night out!

since it was bank holiday monday today, most people didn’t have to work. of course i did though.

the victoria line was suspended so i had to take a different route to get to work. didn’t want to take a bus cause i always get lost and they tend to take ages, so i decided to go to westminster and walk from there.

pretty impressive when you get out of the tube on a monday morning and see the london eye, and then walk past westminster abbey on your way to the office. sometimes i forget i live in london.

so if the tourists don’t annoy me too much in the future, maybe this will be my new route to work.. who knows!

took the tube from simon’s this morning to get to uni. it was horrible, i don’t know how people do it. i mean i do, but living a walking distance to get to class is so much better.. saves time and money.

especially next year with the olympics.. never mind the increased tube prices!

i remember ito telling me about when he lived in asia how they pushed people into the train cars, and well i thought yeah they probably push a bit to get you moving along. i had NO idea this actually happened..

i could never do it! my claustrophobia is waaay too bad, plus i hate being too close to strangers.

literally sat here in tears because of my frustration. with myself. with public transport. with old as hell gas meters. and with this cold and damp country.

i want to go to sleep and wake up in dallas. i don’t want to do this anymore.

went to winchester, lovely, but maybe not worth it for such a short period of time. went to the train station, got on the train, stood there for an hour. LOVELY! got on the tube, severe delays and signal failures and whatnot… even more LOVELY. get home, no heat or water.. LOVELY! go top up my gas card with 100 pounds, only to find out it already had money on it, LOVELY. get home freezing from my very expensive excursion, water and heat works. FANFUCKINGTASTIC.

why is it whenever i work hard to save money it always goes to the boring shit like bills, food, travel. why can’t i spend it on me?

meant to be heading back to London soon after a chilly day. however, the damn tube worker are going on strike again. honestly, i have no sympathy and don’t care if they get paid more or less whatsoever. should’ve got an education if you’re that upset about your job.

so let’s see when i make it home tonight eh?

leaving soonish to meet my daddy at the airport. happiness, happiness even if it’s during rush hour and will take me almost an hour.
