i know its a while away but, i just can’t stop thinking about it. i’m going to dallas, during christmas break, first for a couple of days and then MEXICO!!!! playa del carmen which is a bit away from cancun.

unlike last christmas though, its not just me and the parents. another two families are coming along, including HANNA!!!

6 months of waiting, study study study so i can tan tan tan.

simon and i met up with my sister and we had a coffee with her at the top of kulturhuset in the sun! beautiful view.

then we wandered over to the city hall and had a look around. once again, beautiful!

we were meant to have lunch in the old city for from shellfish and whatnot, but of course they closed 20 minutes before we got there!!

so we opted for a not so great caesar salad, but we made up for it with some newly made ice cream cones and marvelous ice cream!

then we saw the royal palace, simon once again wasn’t happy with me being a tourist and making him take pictures.. ha!

we went to leif’s to watch the football, yay for USA and England!! and had some yummy rhubarb and raspberry pie

after we took a walk around the lakes here in råsunda, and enjoyed some more of the lovely weather!

went to hard rock cafe here in stockholm with my sister and her boyfriend.

ate lovely chicken fajitas, (even if they’re not as good as they are in texas).

then dad showed up right in time for the USA vs. England football game. oh boy oh boy, what a beginning. i thought USA had lost it right away but they put up a good fight, and they deserved that tie. bet you ‘footy’ fans in england are ragging right now, haha!

going to hard rock cafe with a couple of people, such as my sister, her boyfriend, and possibly my dad.

gunna watch the world cup, of course. England vs. USA. since sweden was to shit to make it im rooting for the next best thing, usa. of course if they dont make it, then england. loyalties, haha!

i’ll openly admit it. i’m jealous. all of my friends in sweden are graduating right now and i feel like i never got to participate in a real graduation. i didn’t walk the stage in the states with all my friends cause i graduated in the summer a year earlier. i didn’t get to have a champagne breakfast or run out to all my friends and family like they do in sweden. i didn’t get a real graduation. i came home and all of the sudden i was done. can’t even remember seeing my diploma? all i’ve got is my transcripts, that’s my graduation. i know my parents got me a nice little balloon and a card, and they were proud of me. after all i did it a year earlier than expected, however it still doesn’t compare. sometimes i wonder if things would’ve been better if i would’ve stayed for another year. get more credits, work harder, get into a better university.. would everything have changed then? ah it’s funny how jealousy can take over sometimes, but the good thing is i’m mature enough to know when i’m jealous, and i can admit it. i don’t have to do what other people do and put others down and act like i’m better than other people cause i know that i’m not. jealousy is not a sin, if you know how to handle it.

so even though the rain was coming down simon and i decided to go out for dinner. nowhere expensive of course, just the one and only CHIPOTLE! must say at first look i wasn’t impressed. mainly cause im used to there being a line around the entire building in plano, but also because the rice wasn’t the same color, the pico de gallo didn’t have any tomatoes in it.. but after eating it, i have to say it tastes the same! and boy oh boy was i happy afterwards! full as well. i’ve got to say a corona really does the trick when eating mexican food, of course i could never have done that in the states the burritos aren’t anywhere near the same size as they are in the states, but duh. either way simon ate all of his and i didn’t hear a single complaint. so i will most likely be going back there again!

i miss plano. i miss my friends. i miss my mamma. i miss my pup. i miss the simple lifestyle. the cars. the shopping. the food. everything. i don’t think i could move back, but i sure as hell wouldn’t mind visiting right now. seeing pictures from all my friends on easter break hanging out with each other. knowing i belong there. knowing i fit in. i hate to say it but i know that even if i work a lot until the summer i wont afford a trip to dallas.. i’ll have to wait another year. things i don’t want to believe. i want that choking heat. the burning sun. the air conditioned malls. the spicy food. the gooey queso. all of it. bring me to it!

left behind some of the most amazing people in Sweden when i moved to Dublin with my daddy. had a lovely house party at jonas’ thanks to his mommy! said goodbye to all my friends and got ready to move!

moved in with my dad in Dublin, Ireland. never loved an apartment so much in my life. went through a lot in dublin. found myself while my dad was working. had some amazing nights out as well

two of the most amazing people ive ever been lucky enough to have in my life came to dublin for an insane week of shopping, touristing, and most importantly drinking!

then i had one of the busiest summer of my life. back and forth. going here and there. sweden, dublin, spain, dallas!

had an amazing 18th birthday as well! oh the lovely people i got to share it with <3

then after a lovely summer it was time to move.. again. this time i went to london, where i’ve met some amazing people, and some not so amazing. had my share of ups and downs in london. been extremely happy and loved every second of life and then ive been extremely upset and just wanted to leave. leave it all behind. i wouldnt change a thing though. some of the best things this year happened to me in london and i cant wait to see what next year brings!

then i went for a lovely, but cold, weekend up north with simon. had fun making snow angels and getting pelted with snow. weird yeah? would’ve been hard leaving if it werent for mexico!

had a great vacation with my parents in puerto vallarta mexico! enjoyed the sun, good food, and good drinks and now last but not least.. spending new years in dallas with my family and amazing friends! if you wouldve asked me in 2008 if i would trade london for dallas i wouldve said hell no. now coming back i miss it so much, i feel like i might end up back here sometime in the near future! HAPPY NEW YEARS!!!

we ended up going to the galleria instead! i got a lovely down jacket from tommy hilfiger. love love love it! wearing it today since it might snow, in texas!! crazy stuff. then after i went out with ito. went to blaynes apartment, then andrew and chris’ house, then d’s house. then home! didn’t even realize after a while what time it was. so good to be back with friends t
