Simon was well keen on renting a little ‘fishing’ boat for a day when we were in Greece. so one morning we all got up really early and went down to the Nissaki pier and rented one.
looking back at the pictures now, i want to be back in Greece. it was so nice just reading a book and cruising around on the waters..

whenever we found little coves we decided to stop in and see what the waters were like, and some were nicer than others.

scuba simon was in the water at every stop we made.

then we found a cove that had a stone beach, and the water was clear as anything! never mind that the water was actually warm as well.

thought i had died and gone to heaven, Simon however had to deal with the boat

then as we were heading back to the pier to return the boat, we spotted some dolphins! there were about 6 of them, however a bit hard to capture on camera.

thought it was a pretty good ending to a pretty good day out and about on the water!

After a couple of days of looking out over the water and seeing some people parasail Simon and I decided to go for it. I’m generally scared of heights and after a tiny scream, we were up in the air and it was so worth it. Was really cool and would love to do it again.. maybe for a bit longer this time

Landing in the water was a bit creepy though, figured they’d slow down a bit more but apparently NOT, haha. I got my hair wet, but not my bun? looked a state when we got out the water.

went down to the water yet again, laid in the sun for about two hours. then once i felt fully crispy made my way back up to the flat to have lunch. i ended up on the couch sleeping instead of watching how i met your mother. oops.

ran for an hour! found it really hard at first to find the motivation to keep going but then scrubs was on and i just distracted myself. plus swedish house mafia blaring in my ears probably helped a bit

i’ve had a constant headache for a while now, not too happy about it. so i’m going to re-hydrate as much as possible and get a snack before dinner. just such a nuisance!

while we were in Mexico we went to a nature park called xel ha, was really pretty. tons of things to do, the boys liked the snorkelling. i really enjoyed swimming with the dolphins. such a cool experience! dolphins are just gracious elegant animals.

took a bus out to Tulum one day in Mexico as well. Some ancient Mayan ruins there, pretty cool although we didn’t get much information about it. Plus you can’t touch them or anything like that. However the beach there, is meant to be the third prettiest beach in the world? i wouldn’t doubt it, gorgeous!

woke up to have a shower but no hot water. so i sorted the heating last night, and i wake up with neither. irritated. don’t have time to deal with it either because i’ve got politics and a management exam. ugh.

sister introduced me to this magical drink. there’s nothing like it. it’s fresh. it’s yummy. it’s like a soda but it’s water and im obsessed. only problem is they don’t have them in the u.k… anybody know if it’s possible to order them?!

yesterday i was out on the deep blue sea swimming and soaking up the sun. today i’m sat here with a slow internet connection looking out to the cold and the rain. WHY? why can’t london be having a heat wave as well? at this rate my tan will be nonexistent by next week.

after everything went well at the dentist pappa picked me and hanna up (we had appointments after each other).

we then took the boat out since it was such a lovely day! enjoyed the sun, swam, and felt the heat. had to drop hanna off in town around 1ish, and then me and pappa continued driving around and stopping to swim every so often. absolutely love being out on the sea when the weather’s this nice.
