Day 6

December 6th, 2011 No comments

i had one of these a long time ago, and it was the most comfortable thing ever. i loved it to bits, and maybe it’s time to get one like it again?

this ones from Abercrombie & Fitch and looks as if it could be worn without a jacket as well. perfect for those days in between it being really cold and just sort of cold..

Let the show begin

went to dinner at a chinese restaurant across the street called “wok inn”… can’t say i’m impressed or will be going back anytime soon, but hey at least it was cheap! now i’m on the couch waiting for the EMA red carpet show to begin.. wanna see some celebrities! two swedish bloggers are at the event too so i’ll keep an eye out for them ;)

on a side note i’m ready for winter! want to cuddle up all warm in my flat drinking chai tea and cuddling with my… pillows? god i want a puppy. if only i had a spare 2,500 pounds.. er.

Sun no more

after a few days of sunshine, warmth, and enjoying picnics in the park and dinners outside.. the cold is back. i’m thinking it’s here to stay this time as well. no more shorts or summer clothes, back to reality.

Goodbyes

the last night before we left Corfu, we had out favourite table booked for dinner. i of course had a greek salad and we all enjoyed the wine and the view for the last night there.

we had to leave the villa on the last day in the morning, so we spent the day soaking up the last bits of the sun and enjoying big cold beers ;)

one thing i DO NOT miss from Greece are all the damn wasps! they attacked whenever you had a drink, or food, or even just existed near them. the incense helped to keep them away for a bit, but when it burnt out they came back immediately!

a truly relaxing trip with some great weather, it’s a shame my tan is already starting to disappear!

Evelina’s

went to Evelina’s on saturday for late lunch/early dinner. it was meant for Leif as a thank you for painting her kitchen, but it ended up being so much more.

since i don’t eat meat i got some chicken with mozzarella, sun dried tomatoes, basil and it was DELICIOUS. never mind the never ending supply of wine.

the weather was so nice as well so we sat outside and enjoyed the sun. then we moved inside when it got dark to dance the night away like we used to do when we lived together ;)

The other night..?

everything seems to just mush into one day when you’re not doing anything of importance. either way on tuesday i believe it was, emmelie robert and i went down to the water and grilled some tofu hot dogs and shrimp. was nice to drink some rose in the sun and enjoy the company.

then last night robert’s parents came over with his little brother, david. david’s good friends with my ex. was nice to catch up a bit. another good meal with wine. its the summertime so wine not?

Chilled, yet absurdly warm.

went down to the water yet again, laid in the sun for about two hours. then once i felt fully crispy made my way back up to the flat to have lunch. i ended up on the couch sleeping instead of watching how i met your mother. oops.

went and met up with bella, whom then decided we should go have a coffee. considering that its actually freaking hot outside today i opted for a cold drink at Wayne’s Coffee.

sat there for about 2 hours or so chatting away. god i wish i lived closer to my friends and family.

after a bit we went and got ice creams and just so happened to wonder into some shops.you’ll see what i’ve got later on, but all im gonna say is that my one and only never disappoints!

Impressive but not surprising

i have to say after seeing multiple pictures from before and after of japan, i’m shocked. in a good way of course. i mean they seem to have come a far way in such a short amount of time, and they seem like they’re getting everything back on track.

it’s impressing but not so surprising for me.. i mean think about it, who else would you expect to be able to deal with a disaster and get organised and sort things out quicker and with better team work than the japanese?
